Ya, been there myself and I have to say Wendell from Billy Bob's Texas is better. This guy gives the basics to get people to pay him to learn to dance. Wendell asks for 5 dollars a lesson but his lessons are much better.

@PPDMOSTWANTED Well if Wendell's lessons are so much better, then why don't YOU post them on youtube instead of bothering to watch my videos? Then, and only then, can you make your fatuous remarks on my page!

obviously, not all dancers can give instruction. "and we can do all kindsa stuff and pivots and stuff"... yes you can "go for days" w/o saying much at all. I sure would have liked to see the next four minutes instead of those four minutes. Pick one step, show it slowly, demonstrate alone, add the partner, try it with the class !

@barbarellagb you're right not all dancers can give instruction, but these instructors are great and they do take the time to show it slowly, they do demonstrate steps w & w/o partner, and then they do it with the class to make sure that everyone has the specific step that they are teaching that evening. I'll post some more videos from Gene & Donna soon!!

it would REALLY help to see this to music. I keep trying to do it to music but I would have liked to have seen it done to a song. :(

Very nice moves.

Now all I need is a place to do it, as most the the clubs in the DC area have either closed, have a dance floor the size of a postage stamp, or have been taken over by line "dancers".

maybe the instruction was good, but I couldn't see it, for all the drifting away that the camera was doing. Next time, wait until after class for drinks!

Sorry about the camera drifting....I was doing it blindly because the screen was cracked and it wasn't working so it made it a little more difficult for me!!
