  • Yup. Still working perfectly. I also had a Lacie external hard drive, but that one stopped working fyi. I love the simpletech, great storage for the cost.

  • It depends on if you go by decimal or binary. The drive actually shows that it has 931.19 GB of space that can be used, so it is quite variable. It is like this with many devices, for example, my 16 GB iPhone has a capacity of 14.64 GB. Of course the remaining 1.36 GB are used for system files.
