@lausdomin Just in case you visit this again. I saw George Lewis and band In China Lake CA. About 1953/4 . Slow Drag Pavageu (sp) was absolutely marvelous in this recording. To see him play though just knocked me out. He drove that band with his Bass like he had a stick.
