will this work with photoshop 5.0? i kinda doubt the hotkeys will work with 5.0 as its so old, but its all i have. but i suppose the overall technique will still work, i have been doing similar techniques for awhile now but i actually have to use the mouse to click through most of the categories and options. so it will end up being more of a hassle and taking longer. than just pressing shift+ctrl+alt+T ... :(
nevermind, IT DOES WORK WITH 5.0 thats so awesome... its opened a whole new world for me that also complements the style i already had going! and were you playing TOOL at the beginning of the video? haha they're my favorite band! anyways dude thanks a bunch for the awesome shortcut tip and ROCK ON!
well. that was before college and definitely before the job. So 3 am comes few and far between these days. idk im just more awake at night. maybe not at 3, but leading up to it I just function better.
@eproductions2008 Do the first layer yourself. Do your brush stroke. Duplicate the layer. Transform it. Then you can press "CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+T" to repeat.

Pretty good tutorial. I'm just getting into fractal art. Several questions for you:
1. Why are you doing a tutorial at 3am?
2. Loved your original guitar fractal picture. Can you do more tutorials on fractal art using real pictures?
3. Would it be easier to use a fractal software..such as ultrafractals to create your fractal and then import it into photoshop?
Thanks for taking the time for the tutorial!
