Interesting mod. It looks a bit chaotic and difficult to organize though.

You are right that there was no system of replacement for depleted regiments in the Civil War in the union armies, but the confederate armies did have a system of replacement.

Zouaves where foreign skirmichers used by many world governaments. One good exemple would be the Papal zouaves who were made of men from France, Canada, Belgium and so forth...

@TheToxicPenguin well you are right in the thing with the union (pretty much) but the confedaracy just still wanted to have slaves because it was there econamy it did depends on no slaves = no money it cost to much just to play normal people to do there jobs and there saw slaves like something there owned like a cow or a pig

@9999freedom It didnt cost them too much money to do shit...they had just gotten use to cheap mandated labor, that when the US came to it's slavery controversey (which hadnt been as pressing as it was in the mid 19th cent.) Why start paying slaves to do work that they'ed already done for free in the past.Hell, I probably wouldnt either. They just simply didnt want to come out of there pockets any extra money...even the white yeoman farmers were hurt by the large plantation owners

For the record, Zouaves are troops inspired by the French Zouaves in Algeria. They were basically elite French units. The American Zouaves aren't necessarily elite, they just dress cool.

@TheFifanacho Most confederate troops weren't the redneck, giant house, personal servants, miles of tobacco and cotton field-owning people we think of, most were farmers and woodsmen who were just making sure their homes weren't violated.

Let's play is looking good! From what I heard about this mod the Confederates are redicliously awesome when it come to charging, so keep that in mind.

I had ancestors fight for the Confederacy, so I hope this is a successful campagin. (NO, I am not a racist lol)
