Thanks to the genius marketers at Post, this damn commercial has been in my head for over 20 years. Everytime I hear Deck the Halls, it's with these Fruity Pebbles lyrics.
@DrNo0Entertainment1 You forget, it was written in the Rolly Boulder in Rocks XXVI:IX "And lo, Pumice Cryst descended from the moon and into the cave Mother Magma next to the wild dinosaurs of Bedrockthlehem."
@DrNo0Entertainment1 Well even the great Shakespeare had an anachronism now and then. In "King Lear," he has his characters in Pagan Britain swearing by Roman gods and goddesses. In the words of the great Isaac Asimov: "Yes. This is an anachronism. But what can Shakespeare do? They are the only Pagan gods the Elizabethan audience would recognize."
If the great Shakespeare had an anachronism in his writing, we can certainly excuse this beautiful commercial.
@MB11113 This commercial is one of my absolute favorites of all-time, by far. And I've watched it multiple times on here before now and it still gets me all sentimental, so I know how you feel!
Fred probably had the spoon in his mouth right before that camera shot, so when the camera goes back to shoot them it appears as though he's eating cereal without ever putting the spoon in his mouth.
I dont know why im 25 now but i remember this commercial from christmas time more than any other x-mas commercial from my childhood. i think its the best
I'm 29 and this commercial will stay with me forever..... I remember this, the california raisins christmas, and the garfield christmas special. Ah.....the memories. They don't make 'em like this any more. Makes me miss being a kid!

Agreed. Makes you forget about all the crap going on out there.
I love how Fred, at the end, starts to chew his Pebbles but never put the spoon in his mouth!
