I just installed safari and it has to be the most shittest browser i have ever used, after 5 minutes of using it i uninstalled it straight away, all other browsers are 1000 times faster than safari, very dissapointing for me personaly but could be better for others.

The software that he is using is what is allowing him to do that. If you have a mac tho you can do something similar by holding down the control and scrolling up.

in the beta the tabs bar was above the URL box and now the official release has the tab bar under the favorites bar again. i think that the tab bar above the URL box was a much better idea. it really shows a redesign to the browser.

To go back to Safari 3, just google Safari 3, and you should get a link to Safari 3.2.2 or something. The reason it doesn't look like his is because he's using a mac, and Safari 3 was based on Mac's OSX leopard theme. It changes the theme depending on your Operating System, but XP and Vista both look pretty indentical, so you won't see much of a difference there. Hope this helped.

Tabs are still there, Go to tools, "customize task-bar" and then you can add tabs from there, along with a Homepage button and Downloads button. The looks are gone from it, but its amazingly fast for me now.

The PC version sucks. It totally lost that Mac look it had and I really liked that. It copied a few thing from explorer, a t least the PC version. I don't know. But if you do download the other version the software update window will pop up saying the 4.0 version is available. So I guess we're stuck with this new piece of shit safari. I know you can decline the update, but I don't know what happens if you do that.

I've been using Safari 4 developer version - before they released it to the public - for a few months. It was during that time that I realized my Firefox use had petered out.

Safari just "feels" right in conjunction with Apple's normal everyday use. On a Win. box... yeah, it's probably slow.
