I actually agree with you! Although the holds are smaller than they appear, and the angle of the wall makes a huge difference, the ratings are too high. I would rate them more like a V1 or maybe V2 (I recently went to a pretty large climbing gym in Charlotte, NC and I was able to climb all the V3's and V4 climbs, and they were harder than mine, but the V0's and V1's were a little easier than my climbs... thanks for the post!
Listen, i grade routes from experience, just because I don't use the grading system exactly right doesn't mean you can't figure out what I am talking about. I certainly do not waste my time trying to figure out exact grading rules. If you can't figure out what a V3- means, I think you need to just chill out and not worry about it so much. Why don't you climb a V3 and V2 and then you will know what a V3- is... is that too difficult to understand?
hhaa your totally right man, this kid lastchance is an idiot, we have v2- v2 v2+ v3- v3 and v3+ at my gym, of course there are v3-'s, its not quite a v3 but not a v2, sick wall by the way, super jealous, i litterally built mine 30 minutes ago, and it sucks compared to yours
yes, experience. I have been climbing on real rock since 1995. I cut my teeth at the Gunks, New River Gorge, and later at Joshua Tree, The Needles, and Mt. Lemon, AZ. This wall I built was out of necessity, i moved here for family and there is no climbing in Myrtle Beach, SC!!
There are a lot of holds, but I have created routes with colored tape, so the routes I am doing in the video, if you look closely, are all small, crimper holds. Thanks for the comment!
Good job man. Love the wall. Who cares what people say, just have fun.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
The guy in this video obviously has no idea how to accurately grade routes. What the hell is V3-?
