Just for the record, when this song (and this artist) was hot, most people who appreciated REAL music didn't care how "attractive" the artists were. What if Ms. Simms, her children/grandchildren, friends, or other relatives are reading these posts? How would they feel? Were Lionel Richie, Billy Ocean, and Jeffrey Osborne considered "attractive" by mainstream listeners back then? The answer is no. However, these artists were talented! I wish we could get back to appreciating real music...

I was 22 also when this song came out! I saw joyce down in Seaside Heights N.J. at one of the many clubs they have down there! Joyce sang three songs, she sounded better then her recordings!! Afterwards we got to speak to her and get her autograph! She was very nice and approachable! Very personable! Then she took off in her limousine and left! Very nice young lady!!
