Altair and Ezio are both Badass to the same level but if you want a full opinion.

Altair was the one who developed the assassination technique he is the pure essence of killing with skill, he made the weapons and movements.

Ezio shows more character development, he shows more realism when it came to Assassins Creed, he used the weapons his ancestor left for him for there intended use and rebuilt the creed when it was crumbling same with Altair, his master lied to the him and he paid for it.
