  • Pedro thanks for help bringing HIV/AIDS awareness to the forefront and being a great example of a gay role-model, a Latino role-model, a Generation X role model, and most likely an american role model. You will always be missed!

  • can some one tell mi the name of the song that end this video....who sing it?it beautiful

  • @archorn100 The song is 'Book of Days' by Enya

  • thank you Pedro...not only to love life but to appreciate everyone more

  • Man Pedro smiled through it all.

  • What a wonderful living legacy Pedro has left behind for the entire world; his life, his teachings, his spirit and memory will live on, forever.

  • I still mourn this guy's passing. What a beautiful tribute MTV had done. Wish they had more Pedros on their network and less Snookies.

  • I think pedro would be happy with our progress so far with HIV treatment and prevention. :D

  • R.I.P. Pedro, descanse en paz Pedro.

  • Hey, Puck missed the "like" button.

  • God bless you Pedro. You did so much for all of us.

    Love,

    Eric

  • I really bet he saved a lot of lives going around talking to people about HIV/AIDS.

  • Only Puck and a few assholes like him disliked this.

  • I loved that dude. He lives forever.

  • we need more role models like pedro, he taught us to live our life like everyday was our last.

  • Pedro was an inspiration too me and millions of around the world wow its been 18 years since his death but he wanted too educate the people about aids and H I V . the newest shows of the real world forgotten what the real world was like i stopped watching after pedro died ! off and on but it isnt the same ever since. The Real world should have gay people in it living with bigots like Puck! again !not 7 straight people in Los Vegas! not real world anymore!

  • Anyone who complains about life, or feels sorry for themselves should learn from Pedro.I feel so blessed, and realise how fortunate I really am watching this. This was a lovely tribute, moved me to tears....Pedro, you still live on

  • I'm crying watching this, still feel sad to this day....but remember all the funny lovely things about him too.........Much respect to his familyand friends x

  • sonya841 you are so pathetic. if you don't like it, you are not welcome here then.... I'm a 24 year old Cuban guy. Pedro you are such an inspiration for me and I'm sure for millions of people as well.... RIP Pedro, I feel sorry and sad that you didn't make it to Cuba. In memory of you I will go to CUBA this year. I haven't been back in 11 years.

  • What a beautiful soul Pedro was.

  • he made a difference in my life back then and now still.

  • @ryanduhast yea my family and parents would care........but I would hope someone on the internet that I've never met wouldn't care.

  • @ryanduhast yea I had compassion 15 years ago when he died. Get over it.

  • I love Pedro! he is an inspiration 4 me

  • Pedro had a huge impact on me 1994 when I was 17 and he still has. I cried and cried for hours his passing way, but in my life he made a difference.

  • Was this crap necessary?

  • @RubberWilbur

In my life he made a difference 1994 when I was 17 and I still continue to to live eyes and heart wide open.

  • @mandartania It's true that there was not a lot of real openly gay people speaking out.

  • Thanks Pedro you will always be an amazing and unforgettable person love you

  • the video isn't playing properly... freezes at the very beginning.

  • Seems like only yesterday when I was watching Pedro on TV. Pedro's courage to stand up and speak out was amazing.

  • R.I.P. Pedro. you have made a wonderful life for everyone around you. i will remember your spirit.

  • You are so right. He is not resting, but rather still living through all those he touched.

  • This is the last Real World I actually seen; after this MTV should have drop the show. All the others seem so unimportant! RIP PEDRO ZAMORA

  • Very true, and very well stated. Glad he touched you so deeply.

  • I was a teen watching Pedro on tv. He left an indelible mark on so many hearts because at at time where we didn't speak of AIDS much and were comfortable to believe it happened to other people we'd never meet, he appeared. Pedro was unapologetic, not sorry for himself & he took us along for an unforgettable journey with his courageous spirit. Once when he had every right to be angry he said "I am sorry. I don't respect people who lose their temper so I apologize". RIP classy gentle soul.

  • omg, i loved this. know he's in a better place!

he was in this world to teach us how to love life,

but we have take care of ourselves. we have to learn from other ppl's experiences

what his father said was very beautiful..

  • how can i reach out to pedro's family? Can someone please let me know? I want to hug anyone from his family and become their friend. It will be an honor to be in the presence of anyone who shares a DNA with Pedro Zamora. Rest in peace.

  • IT HAS BEEN 16 YEARS AND I STILL CAN'T EVER FORGET HIM. LOVE YOU PEDRO AND REST IN PEACE.

  • What a brave man. I can only hope to live my life as bravely as you did. RIP Pedro

  • This is sad :(

  • Wow he is sucha great guy.

He did so much for what he

belived for and went off till

the end to it. He really is an

    insperation and has inspired

me. he became one of my heros.

  • @PURO5X5LK That is true. I do remember when he died and years later, the emotions are still here.

The irony is that had he not contracted the virus and reached out in his sufferring, we would have never known of his courage. He probably would have lived his life in relative obscurity and we would not have become a little better for it.

  • I remember watching the Real World that seaseon. I was so fascinated by Pedro's. He was so alive that even though I knew he had AIDS, it came as a shock when I heard he died. I remember when he apologized to that jerk Puck even though he was not wrong he said "I am sorry I lost my temper. I don't respect people who do that." It stayed with me because it was such a mature and insightful thing to say. The world lost a good person.May he rest in peace.

  • God Bless Pedro Zamora!

  • He is such an inspiration.

  • God Bless him

  • "Book of Days" (by Enya) is being played in the end of the clip. Very nice song!

  • Pedro is forever resting in peace.

  • Thank you! He was a friend of 5 years. We miss him but his work lives on through all of us.

  • @brianquintana7 All men are created equal. Even though I am black, Catholic, straight and conservative, people like Pedro Zamora deserve special care. My caregiver's twin brother died of AIDS 9 months before Pedro died, and I hope there is a cure for AIDS soon. I may be voting for the G.O.P. on Tuesday, but remember that all men are created equal. Let's not create hate on people because of their political, religious stances or gender. Let's respect one another and others will respect you.

  • Thank you so much for this beautiful video. I remember Pedro as being so strong and I never realized how much he truly suffered in the end.
