u must be car retarded wrx's make "the bubbly sound" because it has a boxer engine in it..aka "the boxer grumble" instead of the pistons moving up and down vertically they move at a 90 degree angle...the the srt4 is turboed so the sound ur refering to that u think is the exhaust back firing is actually the blowoff valve that all turboed cars have because it releases the pressure of the turbo..

dude, go with borla. It sounds soooo sweet. I dont know about you, but I really dont think those big canister mufflers look good on a tC. Some look all right, but the borla looks almost stock, sounds very good and not too loud. Plus more performance than most other exhaust. Look into borla, check out the vids here on youtube. You will like borla.

Borla is an axleback isn't it? any ways. an exhaust will hardly give you any power to begin with. unless you're running some sort of FI (supercharger, or turbo).

Yes its an axle back. But your wrong. An exhaust system will give you added power, torq, and mpg(if not on the gas all the time). I had an acura integra. I put on an intake and got more power. then header and cat back exhaust. And of course got even more power. goes the same for any car. Now if you just add a muffler then you may not see any results but noise. But their are plenty of performance exhaust for all types of cars. They all produce results...more hp & trq.

although you are kinda right...an exhaust wont give you much more power...inless supercharged or turbo'd. Most 4 cylinders you will see a gain of maybe 8 hp. When you add intake and header then more...like upwards of 15-20. I probably got a good 15 more horse power out of my intake, header, and cat back for my teg. It was nice.

But Borla all together just makes a better performing exhaust then some other companys. But your right...it would be to the crank. But you would see a noticable difference in your car and how it accelerates and shit.

I would certainly say it up keep or up your resale value. Any TRD parts would. I used to word for a toyota dealer that sold scion. You would def get better value from your car with any added TRD parts. plus its covered under your warranty and wont void it....always a plus
