Although Im actually loving the documentary, I really would not categorize these dudes as DL by any stretch of the imagination. I've lived the DL lifestyle myself for year before finally giving it up and coming out. To me DL is being totally unclockable. People in general population would never suspect a true DL guy of being anything other than straight....Unlike these guys who are suspect from jump.
He needs to leave his children where they are if he isn't ready to be a real father. They have already been hurt once. Each crime is the result of the perpetrator's choice, and that individual should be held accountable for it, but ignoring the role that society (say through institutionalized socioeconomic inequity) played in encouraging those crimes is foolhardy if you want to move beyond playing the blame game to actually stopping the crimes from being committed in the first place.
