  • where can i actually get the vinyl from online plz help

  • Who would dislike this?

  • It was very understandable, thanks for sharing

  • I've started to make this job with a plotter (craftrobo) 250,00 euro, and a heat press on ebay 295,00 euro , and now I start to gain some extra money, with shirts

  • não entendi foi nada hahahah

  • How many washes would the t shirt go through before cracking, thank you.

  • thanks is nice

  • heyya sir...i never tried vinyl transfer though i just discovered it here...I can print with screenprint,.how much that heat press?or all of it? to make a complete print?

  • Hey is there like a table that tells you what kind of vinyl you need for different shirt materials.

  • hey man, one question i got a creation pro h.k vinyl cutter and right now i'm stucked with the size. i don't no how to adjust the size on the cutter and how to adjust the size from the software to suit to the cuter adjustment?

  • I would like to see a demo of just detailed and defined you can get with the vinyl to heat press app. The shirts of today with the " Gothic" style are pretty detailed.

    Thank you

  • @TriggerMan41 i use a yudu screen print for that kind of stuff cad cant get that much definition close but the thin lines will just wrinkle up

  • do i need a special printer like this one to print the designs?

  • Hi! Is there a particular printer for that job or can I use a regular printer?

  • wow your cutter is hyper speed thanks for the lesson

  • Is there a website that you can send your art work to, so that they can print it on good quality transfer paper for you that you can just use it on the heat press just in case you don't have the a good printer?

  • does it hve 2 be vinyl rolls cause i only hve sheets ?

  • I have pretty much the same question as JoshEllsworth.. I haven't bought any vinyl because I don't know what kind is good for my shirt?? I want vinyl that will last for a long time!! Thanks

  • Where would I go about buying one of these machines?

  • I would like to buy one 270 640 5808

  • Where do you get the good heat tranfer vinyl rolls? I been wanting to create my own designs for my own purposes and I have everything minus the vinyl for shirts..

Also what blades do you use? My machine uses 45 & 60 degree blades.

  • Do a google product search for "heat transfer vinyl;" you will come up with a lot of good sources. Coastal Business is one option.

  • @TeamPhenomenon We manufacture and sell the film direct at CADCUTDirect . com

  • what software do you use to design the stencil?

  • Thanks so much for taking the time to make your very informative videos!

  • How many washes before they start to fade though bro?!... Are there any heat transfer techniques that effectively rival or defeat traditional screenprinting?

  • Heat applied film won't fade. Some films will rival screen printing. This is for under 48 pieces, screen print is better for over 48 pieces.

  • How does it look after you wash it? Does the design holds? Or will the Logo design pills a bit once it get washed?

  • ok, so for this type you don't need sublimation ink right? because the color is got from the vinyl? Also, how can a person print or plot let's say, a picture or something with different colors?

  • what is a goof cutter to buy ? 270 640 5808

  • can you only make one t shirt at a time? and also how long does it usually take to do one shirt?

  • How long does this last?

    Like after you wash?

  • You can apply the same technique to a slik printing mesh and then silk print as many as you want without chemicals.

  • i think its cool but it seems it has to be done one at a time...where silk screening u can do multiple projects/shirts dont get me wrong i like the vinyl also : )

  • that is a long time for that type of pressing, isnt 7 seconds the norm? what temperature are you set at? thanks for the rubbing technique on the cool peel though, i havent tried that yet.

  • what is they type of cutter do you use?

  • Armitage Shanks

  • NOT the type of vinyl I was looking for. :D

  • Same for me.

    BRING ON THE 12"!

  • what is the name of the printer? sorry if you already covered that...

  • Check out my videos for explanations of the screen printing process. Questions welcome.

  • I notice you used sisors to cuf the vinyl of at the cuter. I would like share a handy trick. If you have groves or any stright edge on the front of your cutter use a letter opener and just let the stright edge guide you it's quick and makes a smooth cut off.

  • Where can i get Heat transfer shirts made ?

  • what is that paper josh?

  • Thanks Josh ...wish I had taken the time to view this before I cut my first designs NOT as mirror images!!!

  • I Josh, is it possible to print 2-3 colours and then cut a piece with the vinyl cutter.

Sounds better than using transfer sheets if that's possible.I will like to do that if possible. Or do you have video?

  • greets from the uk*

  • WOW. thanks now i understand how to use a vinyl cutter. Thanks

  • Nice one. We've just got some material for our first tee shirts but we forgot the instructions so Josh thanks for your work here. We wish you & your business well.

Matt at Hippy Motors in the UK.

  • Very good! Do you know? In vectorall we have a lot of images very cool.

  • Hey thanks for the vid- very helpful.

How do u do multiple colour designs?

  • thanks bro... very helpful for me, cheers from mexico

  • thanks bro... very helpful for me, cheers from mexico

  • hey Josh how much does it cost to start with this kind of business?thanks...Val

  • You can get started with a heat press and a vinyl cutter for somewhere around $3,000 on average. You will also need a computer.

  • @hijodiponggolz I got a vinyl cutter and heat press for $500 that came with software, just gotta play around with it and you can do whatever you want. its really not that expensive to do

  • @hijodiponggolz

Thats bullshit you don't need that much money. You can do all this for about $500 or even less. Get a used Heat Press off craigslist for like $200 or less. Get a vinyl cutter from USCutter.com for under $300. And then buy some vinyl rolls for $50 off amazon.

  • @beaner4life Nice link dude. I've been looking for those Vinyl Cutters on the cheap for a while. Now, if I can only find a cheap White & Color blank tshirt supplier that doesn't have a minimum and doesn't require a resale license.

  • Hi Josh...for someone just getting started in this business...how difficult is it to get the design centered?. With the vinyl you are working with, if you find you didn't center it as well as you would like to...can you reheat and move it again? Thanks, Claudia

  • once its on it's on

  • ohh, is that the soft feeling on the image?

i also want to know how to make it the rough

    feeling???? thanks

    this video helps alot

  • where and how much is that cutter??????

please i need to know and do we need to use a

special ink? i have transfer paper for home made ones.

  • Hey thanks alot Josh, I'ved been wanting to get into this for a while now. Great information

  • Is it possible just to print out the image on the heat transfer paper with a regular ink jet and then apply it on the shirt with a heat transfer and if yes how is the quality; or do I have to use the vinyl cutter?

  • yes, if you go to office supplies or specialty paper stores you can find "light" or "dark" fabric transfer paper, you can use normal ink-jet printer then iron it with a normal household iron over it. just cut it with normal scissors and that will do the trick.

its not necessary to use a heat press with those.

the quality is actually pretty good, of course it wont match a screen printed t-shirt.

  • i have a robo cutter, but theres no option to reverse the design, so it printed backwards on my only piece of flock.

    cocks.

thanks for the video, you have helped me no end. u r a star

  • Can you practice on old T Shirts? I just got my new kit from Imprintables and I made a nice transfer with my cutter. I''ve tried everything but it won't stick to my T Shirt. Any ideas?

  • if you want to stick on your shirt you should by that iron on paper stuff, any computer shop will do it, and it goes right through your regular printer =]

  • you the best josh thank's 4 the info!!

  • Cool video. If your interested in sign and screen printing come check out our videos and see all the information we have and products we offer. We're constantly adding new videos with new videos about vinyl plotters, sublimation and screen printing packages coming up within the next few days!

  • Excellent.

    Great job.

  • In the Uk, try Pro-Seal Verso material from Creative Transfer Solutions. Incredible!

  • This helps a lot... I have been paying a local shop to do custom shirts for me for a while. As a local tee designer, the process was foreign to me, but thanks to YOU, I now know what was once kept TOP SECRET!

  • what about quality? doese it stay after washing?

and how can you print more than one color?

  • The durability of most of these materials will outlast the life of the garment without cracking, peeling or fading.

To do more than one color, you just repeat the process as many times as needed. You can apply layer over layer.

  • Thanks! The GoMedia vector pack design element was very helpful to in my creation process, since I'm not a graphic artist by trade.

  • good job josh, nice to see the wings pack being used!

  • Great video, Josh! I wasn't aware that the duracut product was actually a sheet plastisol (screen printing) ink.
