I want getting into No More Heroes Paradise on my PS3, just hope this gets the HD treatment and comes to PS3. Disappointed with wii though liked the Snes, N64 & GC, I have a 3DS but Nintendo are not the same no more. Suda51 is one of my fave game designers ever since Killer7...

The game lacks polish in that it has you riding on completely pointless bike sections before a boss fight, and programs in a parking lot area where you basically spend 20 minutes doing nothing but fighting an annoyingly long stream of enemies with little variety before the boss. Still a fun game though.

@DocRavage You're not entirely clear what it means to "lack polish," huh? If this game lacked polish, problems like this would be popping up throughout the ENTIRE GAME. And I use the term, "Problems" lightly, because I happened to like both those sections. Polish refers to the level of detail given to the game's performance as a whole, not in one or two rogue sections.

If one or two arguably bad sections can blow a game's rating, that's an accusation you could make at MANY more games.

I was going by the "element that's thrown in showing clear lack of budget or effort on the developer's part" definition. And it's not as if those are the only parts, though as with everything, your mileage will vary. Shinobu's parts count for me, due to her taunt and her jumping like a 3D Simon Belmont, and then there's the rank 2 level, which feels tediously long to me. Still, this game IS a lot lot more polished than the first one.

Considering nothing short of Portal 1 can be thought of as perfect, that's to be expected, but fine. I would just think that the level of enjoyment to be found in the game trumps complaints of lacking polish, but so be it. Opinion's opinion. And we can't trust anyone's other than out own.

@SWIFTzTrigger I would recommend getting NMH first then getting this one, there are characters in this game that male their appearance in the first game that contribute to the story in this game. The first game is more combat driven however, I consider this game to be the better one because it has an actual plot to it. Still either one is fine, if you want to get this game I would recommend watching a walkthrough of the first game just so you know what happened before and how it contributes.

I had more fun and was more impressed with the first No More Heroes. Some of the boss battles in the sequal were sort of bland, with hardly any back story given (The final boss was not nearly as epic as the last boss in NMH1). It also really bothered me that there were frame rate issues in some of the the cut scenes.

You can say what you will about the wii but honestly I have alot more fun playing it then I do playing my 360, if they made the games they make for the 360 for the wii then that would be perfect for me cuz I don't know what it is but I just have more fun playing it if its on the wii. And its games like this that make me proud to own a wii, even though it's graphics aren't as good as the 360 or the ps3 and the games aren't as bad ass I simply have more fun playing them on the wii.
