  • A very special video this is. Spivakov has a nice habit (not only on this video) of looking up as if to ask for inspiration from above - which seems to be granted him. Spivakov watches his concertmaster like a son would a father.

  • @violinhunter2

David Oistrakh also has this habit. Spivakov was attending his classes. :)

  • The sweetest classical movement ever written, and played by truly angelic strings!

The music gently touches the center of the heart, and, slowly, melts it to pure liquid.

  • Fantastic performance

  • thank you for sharing this amazing video with us. Incredible music, incredible performance. What an orchestra...

  • dulce, claro, apasionado, hermoso vibrato, definitivamente excelso, seres humanos. maravilloso.

  • My teacher (Boris Kuniev) is the concertmaster in this video. Unfortunately he pass-away two years ago. I admire him really a lot, fantastic teacher and wonderful person.

  • This is very beautiful. This is why I prefer the smaller ensemble, it is so clean, direct, and simple, right to the point. Spivakov knows how to get the best from the music and musicians.

  • This has been about the twentieth time that I have listened to this video. the tears are rolling down on my cheeks. I also spent several hours reading everything I found on Spivakov and the Moscow Virtuosi. When I hear music like that I experience the return of a ray of hope that God may exist after all.

  • Thank you for the comment. Glad that you enjoy it. Yes, I completely agree with you. Sometimes I also feel that Spivakov and his music came to this world from the above... I had a luck to see him playing and conducting in performances. Unforgettable...
