I felt your emotion , in every word, and breath

understand that its your nan sharing her memory, her beauty and grace

  • Thanks for your very personal and touching sharing. I'm not especially religious, but there's a line I remember from Psalm 89. In one translation it is: "For I claim that love is built to last forever."

I wish you all the best.

  • That's a lovely and very inspiring quote. I'm not especially religious either actually, but I hope that there is an afterlife just so I know my Nana is still 'around'.

  • Thanks Carl, I only hope that I can be half the grandma to my grandkids that my Nana was to me.

  • Really beautiful poem. I wrote a lot of poetry myself. And I lost my aunt about 7 years back- very violently. Funny, I sent her an email (her addy was still working) after she died and I just put all my feelings into it and I had a dream she responded back and told me she was alright and everything would be alright. It helped. :D Love to you.

  • Thanks Aleisha, its strange how writing things down etc can make you feel better. :) oxox
