  • Pretty good diet for a knife guy then! Plenty of things to cut

  • Do acids from lemons or any fruits make the VG10 rust or have any negative effect on the blade. Just subbed CommieForniaTactical sent me. Please sub back and I just actually got an endura.

  • @MrGlockJock25 Nope no staining at all. VG-10 is pretty stain resistant, so as long as you don't cut some limes and then let it sit for hours then you should be just fine. :)

  • Dude, she's hot!

  • cool twist man. try the pineapple in the juicer with the skin on there's some important nutrients there. My Favorite is pineapple and peeled oranges for breakfast. You have inspired me to break out my old juicer. I learned this from the juice man Jay kordich he's the man for juicing.

  • 4 inches wow I need to get on that diet!

  • Very interesting jdavis882. Good grief. This info is totally turning me upside down. I've been a "meat eater" for a few decades. Sounds like I need to significantly reduce meat in my diet. I eat fruit almost daily and vegetables aren't far behind...but what I know about nutrition could fit onto the tip of an eraser. I like that you showed the Endura in this context. By the way, I just got a Sprint Run Para 2 with the Blue G10 scales and M390 steel (awesome).

  • @K2Carbides Oh, and there are MANY peer reviewed articles explaining the "valid" reasons for discontinuing intake of animal protein. All you have to do is google....

  • You certainly look healthy so I'm sure the diet is going fine. Bacon is so delicious though.

  • @K2Carbides I am well aware of the nutrition risks and benefits that come along with a diet sun as this, as my degree is nutriition based. My choice not to eat meat makes you want to not watch my videos? Lol peace!

  • You'd better watch out with that soy, it's very estrogenic not suitable for guys going to the gym.

Things you may also try: pomegranate(peel under water) it's good for the prostate. Grapefruits are good for the liver, it has enzymes that help it detox in both phases. Walnuts are also very good for their healthy fats. Also if you eat fish, try eating mackrel and salmon they also have omega3.(fillet vid with an Endura anyone? check PCCkitchen's salmon vid it's awesome watch?v=Jhsj1d9SGwM)

  • @Coffeenescafe No, I am specifically a semi-vegan. I only eat fish on rare occasions, and I won't even be doing that in the future. Google the different terms. "vegetarian" is a catch all term that people use incorrectly. I am a vegan, not a vegetarian. Or a lacto-octo vegetarian.

  • vegan ? lo you mean vegetarian..!? endura is a good knife but i like stretch 2 better

  • @akim333 The one we tried was actually an omega as well. And yes it came with different screens, but I assure you I had the juicing screen in, lol. It did ok with hard things like carrot, apple, and sweet potatoe. With soft things like kiwi, oranges, strawberrys, and tomatoes it just pulverized them and spit out a paste. Not to mention soft things get trapped around the auger way to easily.

  • Man i dont believe you juice as well, i started about a week ago, im really feeling great and i had this long standing chesty cough and its disappeared. try drinking a lot of water with a squirt of lemon in it does wonders first thing in the morning.

but to be honest im craving for an oven roasted chicken like mad.

    best of luck Bro.

  • @jdavis882 hard to believe your masticating juicer would put out paste. my omega 6000 has a head for making pasta or dough... maybe you need to take a look at the manual?

  • Great vid! Are you vegan for health purposes or because of animal rights issues?

Are you losing the weight because of hypo-caloric intake or because your body is utilizing you previous fat storage as a means to supplement the lack of certain nutrient you get from meats?

  • 5:44 That´s what she said

  • I tried juicing and it tasted like crap...I could of adjusted the recipe...but it was really expensive and I couldn't keep up with it...sold my juicer...there is a really good juicing channel on here by the way channel is called blendhappy...the chick is cute too lol

  • @jdavis882 What about whey protein shakes? Soy contains too much estrogen.

  • Hey!!! we got cheated. I wanted to see the juicing.

  • Would not be able to hit my Macros with that diet. Maybe if i supplemented with protein shakes.

  • @espnazi There are plenty of organic soy protein shakes. I get more protein now than when I ate meat. :)

  • not tryin to be rude but damn!, you are a lucky man! o and great vid like usual.

  • Just out of curiosity are you a vegan just for the health benefits or for other reasons?

  • @ajrj925 Just for the health benefits. :)

  • Vegan and skyy vodka????? Dude you better hand over your man card for a while. That's not good..... u need jack daniels and steak

  • @xxbryan715xx One of my good friends made that vodka light for me. I like it.

  • @jdavis882 i did not realize it was a light..... haha

  • @xxbryan715xx Yep it's a piece of "art." There are water proof LEDs inside, and you can fill the bottle full of water and it refracts the light in all sorts of cool ways. Really neat.

  • Nice I am fat make me skinny and I will give you knives! haha

  • @jdavis882 did you watch fat sick and nearly dead? it's pretty awesome. also, you might want to do a youtube search on slow masticating juicers. the high speed ones allegedly oxidize the food, which reduces the nutrients.

  • @akim333 Yeah I've seen that. :)

I bought a really good masticating juicer, but instead of making juice it made a paste close to the consistency of baby food. It was terrible.

I apply ice water to the screen often during the juicing process to keep the heat down. That cuts down on oxidation greatly. :)

  • Doesn't that chopping board damage the edge? I heard those were harder on knives then the wood ones.

  • @velocity6 Only if you were to slam the edge into the board. Otherwise it's fine.

  • it sounded like you AVOID meat because it is not as healthy. would you still eat meat occasionally?

  • @stun279 Maybe sometimes. But very rarely. I am not against eating meat for any reason other than health.

  • @jdavis882 sounds great!

  • @jdavis882 I had to chage my diet i have a chronic kidney diseas, I went to a naturist because i got tired of taking pills and the doctors telling me they couldn't do anything, he told me to go vegan and i did i only eat fish once a week. My kidneys are doing A LOT BETTER!! thank god!. and i lost 30 pounds. i will like to see more about your diet... Thanks!

  • THE MOST non-boring vid you've ever made. Awesome job!

  • So are you guys eliminating all animal products as well? Dairy, cheese, ect?

  • @tmunds1 Yep. Animal protein is highly effective at causing heart disease and cancer. Carcinogenesis can be almost entirely eliminated by not consuming animal proteins. It sounds crazy, but I will explain it all in an upcoming vid.

  • @jdavis882 Yeah I stopped eating red meat a while back. I still eat chicken almost every day. I'm looking forward to the video. I'm always interested in learning something from someone who knows a lot about nutrition.

  • yeah Im not ready to give up meat but I'll support any diet where you know where everything came from.

and yeah if youre gonna buy a bazillion dollars worth of folders there's no excuse not to own a decent kitchen knife. still, it can be fun to take your folder to the cutting board just to reaffirm that your knives can cut **** up lol; so I actually didnt find this that boring.

  • sounds very healthy though

  • no meat uhhhhh i could never live lol

  • Great vid! Could you possibly do a video or something talking about your specific diet(the correct usage of diet, lol). Is juicing something that would make up a whole meal? I'm really interested in eating healthy and it would definitely be interesting to see what works for you. This video really makes me want to start eating more fruits and vegetables. Love the stuff.

  • @bigbubba5037 Sure I can do that! It's cool to see that people are interested in this kind of thing.

You are correct, a juice like this will completely replace a meal. It sounds like you'd go hungry, but you actually feel VERY full for many hours. The reason is too long to explain here, but I'll definitely do it in video. :)

  • @jdavis882 Awesome! Thanks, John! I'll be keeping an eye out. In the meantime, I need to go find me a kiwi lol

  • @bigbubba5037 No problem man!

And I'm sorry to tell you, but Kyley is taken!

Haha nah, kiwi is actually considered a super fruit. Wildly nutritious with tons of anti oxidants. Tasty too!

  • Nice man. I've been eatin heathy and switch to almost only ever drinking water. I feel amazing cuz of that.

  • its funny since ive been wanting to try out juicing

  • Are you sure that everything is organic or at least not GMO ? Nice man.. Im sure its a great difference in the feeling vs. snacking and plowing a bunch of crap day in day out.. Im going to have to give it a shot. Take care

  • @4estfloor Most everything you see here is non GMO organic produce from whole foods, but some things are not.

I couldn't even begin to describe how much different I actually feel after about a month of this. It is just a "cleaner" feeling. Not to mention I have more stamina and energy in the gym. And other places..... Lol

  • @jdavis882 ;P lol

  • i use my cts xhp military for food prep ans such it works pretty good! col vid man

  • @Alexanderedietz Yeah the XHP millie is awesome!! Thanks man. :)

  • i could never not eat meat but more power to you man

  • Your Fiance is very pretty man, good for you.

Now you i don't know what she saw =)

jk, thanks for this. I've been eating healthy lately and this looks delicious.

  • @sasquatch446 Thanks. She is definitely a beautiful girl. I am a lucky guy for sure.

    Try a juice one day!

  • hey man great video, i definately would love to see more like this in the future considering that food prep is one of the main reasons i carry a folding knife

  • I am on an all meat diet, my diverticuli love it!!!

  • @jambiyaSlaughter Lol I have had diverticulitis before as well. Things like sesame seeds inevitably cause me immense pain. Sucks.

  • your a vegan?

  • I'd love to loss 4" off my waist.... I'm a fat %&$#. Thanks for sharing.

  • what do you eat as your main protien?

  • @Faceoffman14 Soy, nuts, etc. There are a lot of vegetarian foods that are MUCH higher in protein than a lot of people tend to think.

  • @jdavis882 Thats what I figured haha. Can you do a video on sharpening a tanto blade? sorry to be a little off topic.

  • i used to juice and i've got good news! you can juice and still eat meat, but if you're drinking ham juice and your arm goes numb, wait an hour. i'm no nutritionist but just to be on the safe side...

btw that's the more tactical kitchen knife ever, good stuff.
