any strength training program accompanied with plyometrics will help you in jumping. examples: squats, squat jumps, box jump, single leg bounds, lunges, hurdles hops etc. make sure to be consistent though. aim for 2-3 days a week
Nice vid man. This is my first year triple jumping, and first year in high school track. (I am a sophomore) My PR is 43' 3" But my phases suck horribly. If I wanted to jump 46, what should my phases be?
Avorack127. u need 2 work on ur form and Mostly ur 2nd phase. u culd get like 5 feet more if u do. cuz i started ttriple jumpin in 8 th grade. and jumped 30'. now im in 10th grade jumpin 50'.
bro my second phase is great. this is a terrible angle but watch my great technique one. i have perfect phase percentages. 35% , 28%, 37. these are percenatages that willie banks and jon edwards had. i have measured all three of my phases
thanks. well i dont leg press that often. i prefer squats and dead lifts. but yea i have never really weight lifted seriously before. now i am and its helping. my highest dead lift is 455lbs. im wokring on my power to weight ratio.

ya man you'll get that B standard if you keep working. I weigh 135 and I leg press 450 but my jumps are terrible. I need that form you have.
