  • This shit is crazy..Whoever thinks its easy or they could do it as fast..Id love to see you post a video. You know how much time goes into finding the right breaks and samples!!

  • fuck, that beat is largely iLL

  • 5yrs lata dis beat still go hard! Just u cold as ice my nig!

  • TALENTED!!!

  • thats cool blaze has a qfo

  • Wow!! I mean wow! Just BLAZE!!

  • phat samples up in his 4G

  • man that shit !!!!!! i dont know what artist is live enuff to terrorize that beat , then whe he bought in the aww yea pure 100% hip hop

  • Just Blaze just blazed..

  • BigBaggaBlues well maybe ur right im still lookin for nice samples and sounds if u got shitty samples u make shitty beats bud good samples doesnt make u just blaze its about the idea to see it in your head and put it on the beat..as he said...o and i dont hate or something just dont understand the thumbs down:)

  • whats the song being sampled?!!!

  • Im Sold...

  • @celticpride859 Shut up.

  • 17 people too stupid to introduce themselves

  • @Sharkiiify i didnt give it thumbs down but ill fucking introduce myself. why should we like this video? its just proof that an 'industry legend' is FUCK ALL. he uses rack presets and makes the drums for a track by deciding which break he wants to use. sampling Hip Hop was a revoloution then people took it and ran with it, 30 years later and twats like this guy are making a lot of money out of doing something millions of people around the world can do. if you have the right samples its not hard

  • anyone who uses this shit and calls them selves an artist or musician needs to learn how to play a real fucking instrument.

  • @celticpride859 ur an idiot. leave.

  • @celticpride859

    you sir are a jackass.

  • what is that intro song called

  • @AggaADO Jay-z - Public Service Announcment..

  • 11 minutes dumb shit

  • Just Blaze is an ok producer....But I'm not a big fan of sampling others music and acting like they really made the beat...the sample is basically making the beat for you...SAMPLING SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @PurpleKloudz

Yo the truth is even the music you play with an instrument has already been played before by someone else. So I could say your sampling. All music takes from each other. Learn some Music Theory before you try to talk shit.

  • lol learn to play real intruments

  • a baby can make that beat rappers beating the system anybody can make a beat

  • If only producers actually knew how to played drums, woodwinds, horns or piano these days. What happen to real musicians? Please stop sampling other peoples work to make money, try and create something from scratch without loops.

    Eddie Merino

  • @YonkersProducer The Hip-hop i know has always been produced by sampling? Whats the deal? That's the sound of real hip-hop culture... And clearence whit the original artist is not cheap so it's not for money... Let me ask you which hip-hop artist do you like? You cant like jay-z then, cant like 50 cent, cant like snoop doog... Witch "real musicians" in hiphop are you talking about?

  • @ktownpunkkid if you check out old chicago rappers like twista and do or die, they had avtual music that rarely took from samples. i should know as even in todays world i get paid to play guitar and bass for hip hop producers in chicago (im a native btw) as well as ATL and LA. Jus saying

  • @domonichimself Aight!

  • @domonichimself

Hey man. I just finished wrecking a Music Theory class and one of the first things I learned is that music cannot be original because every genre takes something from one or the other. Jus saying.....

  • @YonkersProducer a lot do. you will never get this art form. there are just some raw sounds that can not be recreated. why troll this video. shut up, hit the dislike button and fack off.

  • YO MOST DEF TOP 5

  • what mpc model is that? looks like a 4000?

  • @TheMufazzal 4000.

  • wow, thats fucking dope

  • XD That beat is raw!

  • so......this guy works his ass off with this equipment and comes up with a beat....and some other guy comes in to rap and it's his song/album?

  • @governergusgus producers are getting the money

  • @muftau7 what abouuuuuuut artists that produce themselves :D

  • sick i want an mpc now

  • lmao! @ 9:40 "do you hear that"?

  • 16 ppl like soulja boy

  • dis nigga off the chain!

  • sweet

  • Comment removed

  • check out these beats like this one at supernovatracks, com

right now just uploaded some new bangers, check em out

    supernovatracks,com

  • Just da god !! << dnt take my comment so seriously dis shit just hard lol

  • I'll challenge anyone who thinks otherwise to a beat battle, samples or no samples

  • any nigga hatin on sampling is simple minded. I play drums for a living.(bucket drums to be exact) and I play guitar probably better than anybody whos taken the time to comment on this vid. So dont give me that "shit is lazy" bullshit. Ironic All yall dudes claiming to be original are more cookie cutter than christmas cookies. Bitting lex luger, 40, stargate and any other mainstream producer with a top 40 single.

  • putin il trouve toujours des samples de fou !!!

  • used to use? damn if he dont use em, i still could use some those racks haha

  • seriously loll. why would he grab an instrument and make that beat himself when there is an unlimited source of sounds waiting to be used. the beat sounds nothing like the song he sampled from therefore its his beat. id like to see someone, anyone make a beat like that with the samples he used. probably can't, especialy not in 15 minutes.

  • @ukickmeikicku you wanna suck his dick that bad? I'm pretty sure plenty people out there can do better in less than 15, sampling shits easy... not hating, but not a fan of this style of production

  • @shomazta i was only showing my respect for the guy as a fellow producer. i know its hard to make a beat that has good flow, makes the listener want more and sounds totally different from the song it was sampled from. just so happens the majority of real music was made in from the 60's - 80's and people are taking advantage of it once more, breathing new life into them. samples are recognized and the original artists get cred. sampling is easy if you do it for fun.. try making money off it lol

  • just blaze just killed like 10,000 fake producers with that raw shit. fuck all the haters.

  • he does both. he samples and makes beats from scratch . smh

  • Fucking magic right there

  • did anybody else hear that kanye west "heard em say" at 4:16 ??

  • damn i needa get me a mpc

  • wait ..does he sample his drums tooo O_O

  • @SGFLOW Unless u use a machine or play drums ... you sample drums 2

  • lmfaooo wtf never noticed dat long ass ponytail he got lmfaoooooooo

  • and this whole time I thought that he made everything from scratch!

  • anybody can sample it takes a real producer to build a beat from stratch and so what if hip hop was built on samples are you a leader or a follower just cuz everyone samples dont mean u gotta follow the trend,of course samples sound great and fresh there already hit songs why wouldnt they ud got to be stupid to sample something an it sounds weak, n first how is samplin creative its not somebody already did the creative part, and dont even talk about the legal issues,

  • @wrvdeal2respect idiot

  • @wrvdeal2respect nothing you said sounds credible. not every song sampled was a hit, it actual takes creativity to turn a sampled song in to a new song using small parts or even different arrangements. point is, both sampling and original music are good for hip hop. hating on either is pretty bitch made of you, white boy

  • @wrvdeal2respect wow you're a fucking idiot.

  • That was some coo shit dogg.

Check a homie out and show some love.

  • sampling is great in rap while listening to your favorite genre the samples add other genres to mix it up and this makes rap that much fresher and beautifuler than any other type of music

  • do any of these 'up & comers' realize this isn't just blaze's channel.? why are you asking him for pointers, it clearly says PRODUCERSTV as the channel- it's probably run by the dude paying the dude holding the camera. c'mon....

  • wut beat is he makin where it says step the fuck back ?????

  • !!!!!!!!!!!! can anyone tell me the name of that vinyl he uses to scratch?

  • This... is an 11 minute commercial for the MPC-and I'm LOVING it

  • 13 people don't understand Hip-hop.

  • @ATDC 15 peple now

  • wut beat is he makin ????? the one that says ''step the fuck back'' ?????

  • @Knowledg3X

just look for break beat records. those samples are comonly used on alot of them.

  • SICK

  • what is the name of the song in the beginnning?

  • @AHScrewedu P.S.A. - Jay-Z

  • MAKING A BEAT WITH LOOPS AND SAMPLES

  • Sampling is an art. Not everyone good at that shit. Don't be trippin on Blaze. Nigga doing his thing.

Diggin for rare samples and flippin em up in a way that doesn't help you recognizing em at all is different than just looping shit and adding drums on top of it..

  • you know this is where hip hop gets sketchy. everyone is in one way or another...takin other peoples shit...changing a tone or a rhythm, and callin it there own and gettin cred money and other shit for it. its like, what kind of fulfillment is that? "yeah i got a grand for an idea i stole but i mean, its all about the music to me not money" thats what they all say. the world needs to give cred to artists where cred is due. god given talent and and original creativity.

  • @hcmaggot1313 did you watch the whole video? the music at the 10:00 mark is definitely not the same as any of the songs that he sampled... and as he said it's only the beginning

  • @hcmaggot1313 Producers are not stealing it's called sampling and they do get the credit they deserve through sample clearances if you don't know what that is look it up.

No idea is original! Everything is borrowed even the songs that are original have ideas that are borrowed. Nothing is new under the sun! Sampling is the basically the foundation of Hip-Hop. You must be young to not know about the history of Hip-Hop and what it actually is.

  • I use Steinberg Cubase for sequencer and LinPlug RMV, the best drumsampler / loopsampler there is

  • i shited my pants i cried a lil and im still in awe this dude does not need a doc ta tell hem him he's ill still blaze is forever on fire wit the beats

  • Wassup people, for those of you interested in becoming music producers, I advice you to take action as it's not something that you can become over night. If you want some music production information, check out my channel. Take care

  • new jersey!!

  • If anyone is looking for the ill ass sample he's rocking It's "Hiroshima - Lion Dance"

  • are those drum loops already on the MPC?

  • wuts that beat at the end ?

  • LIKE THIS COMMENT

  • I need to get my skills up like that, this shit was crazy for like 12 minutes

  • people with just a keyboard and a program diss the people who have mad hardware "oh your a gear head, you dont need all that" people who dont know how to sample and chop and make a old song a new masterpiece diss the cats who sample WELL! its one thing to SAmple like JUST is here and another to Puffy and put drums on top of a lOOP....how bout you make PLATINUM hits and then come back and CRITICIZE till then just master your way of making music!

  • those drums r all ofical break beats..we use to grab it from the 12 on the spot, all day, he has them all in the banks. see yall rookies wonder why ur shit aint hot, its cause the drums are plastic from a plug in buy some records, u clowns

  • what a fuckin racket!!!!!

  • I wish I could same

  • I think its wack that they gotta use drum samples why the fuck not just make your own damn drums smh its retarded there suppose to be producers but yet there using sample drums what kinda shit is that!

    '

  • @nicksbeatsproduction I see you are a fellow Fl user. I have nothin but love for you. But you have to understand that even the snare hits you hear on lex luger albums are sampled. Only difference is that JB's drums arent chopped.

  • what machine is he using?

  • @ewoski The MPC 4000. Its an expensive bitch

  • ...wats tha sample he's using???...tha "horns" at tha start???

  • Comment removed

  • in relation to the whole sampling argument. i think sampling is a cool, creative way to recycle music. some of the hottest producers of our time were samplers. take j dilla for example. the man could play what, like, four instruments by the time he got into high school. he couldve composed music just as easily as the next man. still, he chose to mainly sample songs, who knows y. and now hes a household name in hip-hop music. something to think about for u haters

  • @stone1free1 dilla and 9th wonder

  • wow ge made that in 15mins and prolly sold the beat for 10ga

  • wuts that 2nd beat where it sed ''step the fuck back'' ?

  • II NEEEED to know some good brass samples that hold that long note who knows any dope mo fuggin artists that got a trumpet sound like that please yo dnt be fagg if u know info let a niggah know

  • @stephend587 Get to the record store homie and hit the Jazz and Soul section. You'll find what your looking for with time.

  • wuts that beat that sed step the fuck back ?????

  • hip hop as we know it was built on a handful of motown drum breaks. stop hatin on samplin. Everyone doesnt have the means to go out and spend a million on instruments and mixing consoles.

  • ain't nothin wrong with sampling as long as the result is fireeee

  • You can sample or "compose" whatever that means. Just make sure you're doing it legally. =D

  • I can hear Ghostface and Jay-Z together murderin' this beat............WORD!

  • @TheINF13

This seems more of a Ghostface track. But, if Hov were to get on this it probably would have been during his BP2 sessions. I could also see Redman hopping on this as a feature for Ghostface.

  • that's some hip hop there, see!

  • 4:09 what drum break is that ?

  • WATTUP JUST, IMA ESPIRING PRODUCER, IF U COULD REACH OUT TO ME WIT ANY SUGGESTION AND POINTERS ON REACHIN YO LEVEL, THANKS IN ADVANCE

  • title should have read: Just blaze "SAMPLING" a beat for 15 min ...

  • Comment removed

  • m.o.p. would rip the shit outta this one...

  • i like scott storch better

  • 1) Wow....he chopped those samples off the vinyl so easy!!

    2) Doesn't do his own drums huh? And it looked like he was thinking of mixing those breaks for this one track? That'd be crazy....

  • He really can't stratch....

  • sound like something game would rhyme on

  • samples samples samples! gtfooH

  • I have new found respect for just blaze.... just off seeing this for the 1st time... I need to... fuck that... I must step my game up... pharris 27610... raleigh nc... check out my beats... these are not by best... holla at me...

  • is it my speakers, his camera mic, or his samples that sound raggedy as fuck?

  • wth this fcking easy man erbody can do dat shit and this aint sampling this is just taking a drumloop and don't change anything and some horns thats controled by just pushing fucking buttons, only the scratching is skillfull but for the rest its all buill crap

  • @Tycoj

You mean you don't like Hip Hop?

  • @twisterrk I love hiphop but this is stealing music man.

  • @Tycoj sorry but how can you love hip hop but hate sampling?

  • @Tycoj

"i love hiphop but this is stealing music man."

Hip-Hop is sample led genre, you probably dont even realize that your favourite songs were made by samples. Grandmaster flash did it, he would sample dirty break beats. It even goes as far back as to when Dj Kool Herc mixed at block parties and would have two of the same record and play them one after the other.. a basic beat juggle, which is looping really.

I don't want to question your love for Hip Hop but get to know the culture!

  • @Tycoj in any artform, theres gonna be people who dont see the skillz involved. some think its just pushing button, some see a lot more. theres people who think Pollock paintings are just childish works, others consider them masterpieces because some think its just dripping paint on a canvas, but others see more than that.

there is a reason why some dj/producers make critically acclaimed beats, while others make wack shit. so yes anyone can do it, but to do it well is not easy

  • @dilated1990 good point!

  • thats dope shit

  • I want sounds like that . Thats the only difference between me and him

  • Listen to my beats on my videos ! The Genius Production

  • to all the people talking bout sampling is lazy shut thehell up hip hop has been sampled since the birth of it realize dat if you really take a look at all music you can hear different parts of genres in the songs

  • @jhunter2 what record was that that he got that instru from

  • @jhunter2 yep all the way to things like cueing the best part of a record thanks to all the djs like flash theodore etc...they started an art which all spawned out of graffiti

  • @jhunter2 sampling is being lazy if you just loop a sample and add drums n other samples to it but building a whole beat around one sample like playing piano bass etc it's not that easy at all

  • @krazygyal yeh i can feel you on that brah that actually makes sense lol

  • 4:38 thats all im saying !!!

  • @Blkday64 dude it's not a premade loop in the mpc, its a sample from the song candy maker by Tommy James and the Shondells.

  • Yeah. They starting to display less and less talent.

  • y cant they just start from scratch an stop usin other ppls shit copyright abusin mufuckers!!!

  • @bigpimpinCBP bcuz sampling is hip hop

  • @HomemadeBeatsEnt no sampling is copyrighting

  • @bigpimpinCBP I think the words you were looking for were copywright infringement

  • einfach nur Killa!

  • soooo G

  • i really respect just blaze, but just a word of advice for any would-be producers out there jus startin out and seein this, you dont need all that shit that he got to rock a good beat...to be perfectly honest you really only need that level of hardware if youre gonna be one of the producers that almost exclusively uses nothing but samples (like Just Blaze, RZA, Kanye West, etc) originally composed beats require pretty muchhhh less

  • @MaxLikesToKillShit id recommend downloading fl studio, a couple samples or ripping off a classic. for those guys, it usually does the trick

  • I have all the factory sounds from every drum machine made in the last 20 years including the AKAI MPC range with MPC programs and much mo
