I agree with the last post...sounds a bit like bat crap, but I do like the chords the guy was playing...

These are terrific guitars, but like any guitar you can make it sound pro with pedals, software & tools.

what are the necks like on the charvels? are they like a fender neck?

@rocknrolla12992 thinner and flatter than fenders. Its even a bit thinner than my Jacksons (DK2M, SL2H). They are a bit thin and flat but not as thin as an Ibanez super wizard.

These guitars are super resonant and sound amazing. I have the style 1 san dimas and I am thinking about getting the style 2 as well...

@rocknrolla12992 The necks are superb. Not at all like fender. Jumbo frets, rock hard maple. I love Charvel necks, this is a great one. Quartersawn maple. So great.

I just bought a NOS Charvel Star. I went for it over a San Dimas Telecaster because it was marked down in price and the bridge on mine is a German Original Floyd Rose (I got a 2005 Charvel for £700 and the new Charvels are about £150 more than that). I still want a San Dimas Telecaster, though!

It's just like the San Dimas but with the pickguard, the So Cal has nothing under the pickguard, it's purely aesthetic, I have one, it's a great guitar

the route is H-S-H under the pickguard though so you can include a middle single coil or have H-S-S configuration if you want - regards

It's just the case that what he is hearing is not what we are hearing. The playing isn't that bad really. It's just all muffled. He's no Greg Howe, but you could take Greg Howe and pour molasses over him and get the same result with this setup, sure.
