A very mentally disturbed artist. Who does not have any sense of presenting solo tabla at all. As one of person compared him with Maestro Zakir Hussain and Ustad Tari Khan, plz let me know if Taffoo has ever and i say ever accompanied Ustad Salamat Ali Khan, Roshan Aaraa Begum, Ustad Mohammad Shareef Khaan, Chotey Ghulam Ali Khan. Pakistan film industry collapsed because of people like Taffoo and party. Tabla is not all speed. What if he has to accompany classical khayaal in vilampat laya?

You guys dont need to argue. Each one of them is unique in their own ways. Ustad tari khan is known for his awesome light music, ustad tafo khan for his extreme speed and ustad zakir hussain for his clarity, variations and versatility-he knows almost every style (punjab, banaras ,delhi, farukhabad south indian etc)

Interesting comment, however it is a cultural difference. Culturally India and Pakistan have evolved differently, socially, culturally etc. with different priorities in life. As such theie approach to a common instrument, ie. the tabla would also be different. Appreciate each one for the beauty that it emanates!

Actually she does I think this is because both players can attain remarkable speed but I am more interested in the style of Ustad Abdul Sattar Tari Khan or Pandit Anindo chatterjee or Swapanji I feel these players place more emphasis on beautiful Gats and Relas and so fourth instead of just playing fast, just my personal opinion.
