However, deathcore does take some influence from it, like the use of death growls, blast beats, etc. But deathcore is dumbed down with simplistic riffage and overdone breakdowns. Death metal, usually, revolves around speed and technicality, while many bands still capturing a sense of "catchiness" in the riffing, so they're not sacrificing good, time-taking music for accessibility. Deathcore, on the other hand, is for a money-making trend.

@RandyIsC0o00o0L No problem, dude. Some death bands to look up are Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Behemoth, Abysmal Dawn, Nile, Hate Eternal, Blood Red Throne, Spawn of Possession, etc. Just go on metal-archives (dot) com and you'll find plenty of bands.

@RandyIsC0o00o0L haha lol i'm listening to them by the way that guy is wrong... deathcore and deathmetal have fast pased bands with shit loads of notes in them (and guitar solos =( ) but deathcore has the most extremely brutal things in it there will be a deathcore song with the heaviest guitaring and a deathcore song that has the most brutal vocals but most of the genre is pretty crappy sad to say
