@xsliceofheavenx No... I'm not a professional at all on the Ketosis diet, but I actually underwent about 2 months of ketosis as an amateur boxer for the upcoming season. Nuts are a definet no from what I understand.
I do a ketogenic diet for many reasons, here are some things that are real important for ME, in making this diet effective. 1. High level of ketones 2. Restrict carbs to very low levels, less than 20g. 3. Restrict protein levels to body requirements 4. Restrict fluid intake, this will increase ketone concentration. 5. Eat a SLIGHTLY subcaloric diet. 6. I eat a large percentage of calories from fat, about 70%.
I use MCT's, (coconut oil) occasionaly, but that stuff is rough on the gut.
Nuts are a no. Milk is a no!

find out what your max amount of carbs is per day.
if your max is 25 grams of carb, then you can eat 98 almonds per day (1 gram carb per 4 almonds) and take in 0 grams of carbs from other sources.
simple right?

@GetBassedified Depends on what kind of nuts. I can stay in heavy ketosis while eating the higher fat nuts such as Macadamia, Pecan, Brazil, Walnuts.
