I heard the Zed's Dead remix a long, long time ago, and to this day they remain one of my favourite producers. It's a fantastic remix, and whilst i've got a lot of time for Breakage, having listened to some of his other remix's (such as his Clare Maguire - Ain't Nobody doodad) I don't think he's the "only" capable producer in the Industry. Both versions are brilliant, of an equally brilliant song. It all comes down to personal taste, there's no "right" way to work a song. Just listen, and smile.

Zeds Dead did a much better job at remixing this, along with Gui Boratto (My favorite). Breakbeat is a great genre and all, but not with Paradise Circus lyrics lol. Maybe if musical aspect of it was deeper, it might flow well. The song is deep song and a fast tempo breakbeat just doesn't sit well, still good though.

The remix was just the song and then a dirty dubstep wobble with the same melody as this throughout, then back to paradise circus, then back to dirty wobble with no relevance to the original song. This song keeps the vocals and melodies throughout which I personally think is more of an achievement as it requires more skill...

Skream uses it quite a bit in his music and I'd say he popularised it. Listen to the end of his remix of in for the kill and he also uses it on a few tunes on his Outside the Box album. I like the style a lot tho!
