@jessrocked When you slow down your clip your clip becomes longer, therefore going beyond the length of the composition. Hit Ctrl + K for composition settings. Extend the duration of the clip enough so that your clip will fit.

Whenever I import .wmv into AAE it's laggy as shit, and says "NOT REALTIME" in red in the top-right corner.. WTF? Clips work fine in Vegas! Someone help

@co2prod you're probaby playing the clip by pressing spacebar right? Pressing 0 will make a quick preview render, which then will play realtime. Also changing the resolution from full to quarter will make it a lot faster to render and preview

@2young4guns its very bad, the human eye sees 25 frames per second, and you capture only on 22 frames per second, so to get a smooth slow motion in twixtor you will need to capture on at least 60 frames per second, i capture on 120 frames per second and it looks great and also 60 frames also looks great.

@AlexCanQS when you go to render do cmmnd M and it will do "make movie" then it will come up with a render bar but before you click render there will be settings things down the bottom... click the "lossless" then it will come up with a settings window.. at the bottom of the window will be an audio box, just tick it then press ok, Click Render and wait for you clip. XD

My twixtor is completely fucked. When i render a video, the vidoe jumps back and forth and it looks verry wierd. And suddenly it stops when im about to drag the video longer in after effects. can anyone help me?? i cut out a bit of my clip and im following these instructions, but when i choose a twixtor speed it drags my clip to the beggining of the whole video. eg. i run up to a dude and im about to no scope him. i cut out when he is just bout to shoot. then i end it, when he finishes the kill. when i try to play it in twitor it shows the whole entire time before i wanted it to happen. @TeamDMG, No reason to use 2 curves on red and green and none on blue, use 1 negative S curve on the blue, and an S curve on the master. anyways you should learn to use after effects before u make tutorials, since people will assume that you're doing things in the correct manner you end up teaching them the wrong things.

Unless ur gonna change blending modes/opacity you can do all the CC on 1 layer.

Please put a notice that you barely know after effects somewhere in the video,

Nothing wrong with putting time and effort into something, it was a great tutorial, however you pretend to know what you're talking about, and to someone more experienced you clearly do not. Your tutorial shows a single way to create a simple effect using 1 method that is inefficient both in creation and rendering time.

no reason to use the twixtor plugin, since after effects has a great time remap utility and combine that with their keyframe editor and pixel motion frame blending and you can create all "twixtor" effects without the need for plugins.

Also, you can just hit shift+page-up to go forward/back 10 frames
