  • is this litigation? getting him to open up and lead him to admit his guilt ... or here, his pain? and will you start preaching your religion next?

  • You can clearly see how fascinatingly none judgmental fry is when he is front of someone annoyingly judgmental

  • "I knew [that I was gay] the moment I was born - I looked back up and said that's the last time I'm going in one of those." Hahaha.

  • If u only know Mr Fry how many things we have in common...

  • I'm sad Fry didn't get along with his father, but I like the idea of his father being Sherlock Holmes.

  • Sthephen Fry is my favourite human being, of all time. I can not bare describe my feeling in any biger format right now, and I do feel these selected words carry the point.

  • Well not all of them are like this. She gives them a bad name. If the camera's were off, I hope she would be more genuine and less robot like than this.

  • VERY FEW actually help people trust me i know, it's fuckin disraceful frankly

  • Well, my experience has been good, which is why it makes me sad to think others have had such an unfortunate time. I'm sorry you've come away feeling negative about them. :(

  • wot has ur good experience been?

  • what's that word he uses in relation to his fathers feelings... pa-seesh, sounds French, can anyone tell me what it means? I can't spell it so I can't find it..

    Paciche... maybe.. i dunno.

  • pastiche. it kinda means imitation or cliched copying in style.

  • Thank you!

  • lol, np problem

  • wait im confused...is he gay or not?

  • He is gay, yes.

  • gay

  • insecure.

  • eh?

  • I hope that he could find some help in this interview. I love Stephen Fry!!!!!!!

  • that's psychiatry for you.

  • No, that's media and TV for me, and perhaps some incompetent persons which has slanted the psychiatrist in a truly peculiar way. That's my perception of it. I removed my former comment. Late in the night I usually write things I tend to regret later.

Over-dramatizing thing is the nature of TV, and it wouldn't be far as exciting if it wasn't there. Like in your home kitchen, for instance, oh no, not a comfy spot for it.

    Sorry, nonsense.

  • Isn't it remarkable the way Stephen talks about love?

I've never met somebody and felt that way. Though, to be honest, I think when it is that immediate and palpable, it is more like infatuation. And he says it's not a physical thing entirely, but he recounts it in pyysical ways. It's how he FELT, in his body, in relation to the world, that was affected.

  • i dont know who he can talk to her!!!

  • she seems very judgmental. it takes away any sincerity that shes trying to give.

  • Cant stand Pamela Stephenson - from "Not the Nine O'Clock News" fame to marrying that Prat Billy Connely - Steven Fry could probably psychoanalyze her - and he is Bi-Polar and has lots of personal issues. He is an amazing ,fascinating human being , she is a FAKE.

  • patronising woman....

  • she's a psychologist it's a requirment

  • shes such an annoying person, interrupting and such...how can you gauge what your doing without listening to the answers

  • What a humorless woman. (And her PhD is fake.)

  • yes she interupts, but i think that is to do with her trying to direct the focus of what she is trying to uncover and through her profession is aware of a patients(if you will) ways/tricks of digression, i think she does splendidly

  • I think it has more to do with the time constraints of this interview.

But that kind of makes the premise of the interview a little bogus, because a psychologist would tend not to do that in a clinical setting and this interview purports to be such a clinical typre arrangement.

  • He's one of the most lovely and fantastic person i've ever met.

  • you've met him???? *jealous pout*

  • WHere can I see more episodes of this program?

  • That woman is so rude. How are you mean to gauge the mentality of a person if you keep interuppting them?

  • Crikey. I am a straight woman and a mother, but I almost wish I could have been "that boy".

  • brilliant! Thanks very much for posting this video!

  • she's ok, but she KEEPS ON INTERUPTING HIM!!! rah.

  • yeah she needs to shut the fuck up and stop telling him what to do. therapists are just supposed to sit there and listen

  • The only thing missing from this interview, I think, is talk about his current relationship. Relationships are such a huge part of our lives, as Stephen expresses later talking about his first love, so his current relationship must affect his current state of mind shouldn't it? I know he's very very private about that aspect of his life, but this is supposed to be a revolutionary type of interview, so couldn't he have at least mentioned it?!

  • I only know from reading Sharon Osbourne's newest book, because she was on this show at some point, that they talk for a lot longer and they allow the person to cut out the things they don't want on television. So maybe he cut it.

  • This is why I hate psychologists/psychiatrists.
