Right. I have worked in a oxygen steel plant. A blob of liquid steel will burn any protective clothing if it gets to stay on long enough...

Depends...about 7 tons most often...

Huh... I had expected a bit more... Basic oxygen process delivers a 325tons in 40minutes. And that's 1 "converter"

At corus we have 3 of those.

A "zoever" is not more than a slagexplosion.

Wich is produced by an awfully lot of hydrogen.

The thing you mentioned, was an explosion caused by a bad scrapmenu and lot of other things. three persons who where not supposed to be there, caught injured. (buiten firma) Last saturday it happened again...
