You'd be lucky to make it. There was a woman who has now climbed all 14 8000m peaks, her last peak being K2. She climbed all the other peaks in the first attempt or second, however K2 took her FIVE attempts to reach the summit. How much colder and exposed it is compared with Everest, it is equivalent to winning an olympic gold medal.....wish you luck!

I was in Lebanon the highest peak in Middle East(exclude Iran and Turkey). I looked to my East and saw the vast expanses of Asia and to the West the Mediterranean and Europe. I can only imagine what the feeling must be from Everest. You look in all directions and all you see is Paradise. To me paradise is not Tahiti or Monaco it is standing at the top of the world as if you conquered it all. One must think they have nothing else left to do in life.......except of course go to Space.
Mount everest: 29,000 ft high as a plane and takes daysssss and you need to climatise but ben nevis is the highest in britain and takes 6 hours walking and people run it in 2!!

I've been researching on the internet ... and there are many travelling and mountain companies who have group trips on Mt. Everest and the price is about 60,000 dollars. It's a lot of money, but worth it! I would love to climb Mt. Everest... and I will one day :)

I really want to try this but am very afraid. Is there a high change of death? I am pretty physically fit and will train hard for it, but in the video I see some parts where people aren't hooked in, like at 0:51. Couldn't you slip and fall? I guess that's part of it, but is it very likely? I haven't summited a mountain before, but i've done a marathon and other physically challenging things. The other problem is I have a heart murmur, will that be a big problem? Can i get some advice please>

I've been researching on the internet ... and there are many travelling and mountain companies who have group trips on Mt. Everest and the price is about 60,000 dollars. It's a lot of money, but worth it! I would love to climb Mt. Everest... and I will one day :)

I really want to try this but am very afraid. Is there a high change of death? I am pretty physically fit and will train hard for it, but in the video I see some parts where people aren't hooked in, like at 0:51. Couldn't you slip and fall? I guess that's part of it, but is it very likely? I haven't summited a mountain before, but i've done a marathon and other physically challenging things. The other problem is I have a heart murmur, will that be a big problem? Can i get some advice please>
