Today many are called "African Americans" for convenience and because the complex nature of genealogy is confusing for people who tend to think in terms of stereotypes. The U.S. government no longer restricts racial identification to one race or ethnic group, so maybe common knowledge about ethnicity will improve.

There is no book or written records about this. It is all verbal, as most native history is. Europeans deny every truth unless it is written, but they still skew the information even if it is written. I have heard this from too many "full-blood" elders (70, 80, 90 years old), who heard it from their elders. From North, Central and South-America (I travel a lot). The video seems logical based on my family's genealogy research which included DNA testing. U.S. census records also document "changes" in my family's race designation over the years. Today many are called "African Americans" for convenience and because the complex nature of genealogy is confusing for people who tend to think in terms of stereotypes. The U.S. government no longer restricts racial identification to one race or ethnic group, so maybe common knowledge about ethnicity will improve.

There is no book or written records about this. It is all verbal, as most native history is. Europeans deny every truth unless it is written, but they still skew the information even if it is written. I have heard this from too many "full-blood" elders (70, 80, 90 years old), who heard it from their elders. From North, Central and South-America (I travel a lot). My great grandmother was full blood Seminole (Red Native).

My mother (born 1920) would tell me the stories of our relatives coming from Oklahoma for a Gathering (the precurser to today's pow wow), and the small house they lived in would be filled to over-flowing. I also dance at pow wows every chance I get. My son is an eagle whistle carrier. I was told 20 years ago by a Lakota elder that Africans came to Turtle Island before Jesus was born. He told me to never forget!

The short answer: The people you refer to as Black Jews, and All other Blacks are of the same blood line. Yes Olmecs, Cherokee, ALL other American Indian Tribes are of that same Bloodline as well. I 'm black but brown in complexion with a red hue and I have the trade mark arch in the bridge of my nose like some native Americans. Under lighting you can really see the redish tent in my skin. My 3 times great grand mother was a native American Ive seen pics of her in tribal gear with her black son next to her. She married a black Buffalo Soldier and together they created a posterity that lead to me. However my family doesnt know our blood line before them. That's what's frustrating.

Message to the people who are accusing the author of wanting to steal from the accomplishements of other races to make black people better.. I myself am black and I dont care about sharing in the success of China or other culture. Actually nobody is even thinking about China. I do love myself and I do not feel inferior to whites. . How can anyone fully prove otherwise? I mean, I am black, pretty africentric...but i seriously want to know the basis for this. Louis...Anna...That just seems pretty unrealistic. And if that alone sounds unconvincing how can anything else (which evolves for some a stretch of their imagination) sound plausible? I read They Came Before Columbus...I don't doubt Africans were here...but we gotta draw the line somewhere...

also i believe that olmec or aboriginal ppl still exsist throughout north and south america, and the carribbean because i ve seen ppl from the carribbean and they have the blk aborginal look or bantu aborginal look. like for example they have an elongated forhead with a strong eye brow bone line. check out the singer maxwell he has the black african aborginal look. most aborginal tribes were enslaved and killed off. i do believe that we all did migrate out of africa some time in history.

i am proud of my blk native american and african roots. my mothers african ancesters came out of the slave ports in jamestown virgina. later they settled in emporia, va. there are still blk native americans throughout the south especailly in virginia. also, i read in ebony magazine last year that most african americans are desendents of blk native americans not african slaves. this info came from a blk native american who is still fighting the u.s gov't for her land that her father left her.

i am a result of this my mother is an african american of cherokee and west african mixture and my father is an african immigrent. i could not even tell who is who because my mother's side of the family dosent look mixed they look like africans. i have seen a pure blooded cherokee and she looks like a light skinned blk woman. my mother's grand father was cherokee and west african and he looked fully negro or like a bantu african. we have been lied to
