Drop isnt hard my friend. Just drop the 6th string with the with by lowering it. All you have to do is press the 7th fret on string six and drop it until it matches the 5th string in sound. Thats drop D.Take care man I hope you get it down.

I plug my Sony Handicam into my computer through a USB cable. I plug my PODxt into my sound card. I set my recording options to record "What U Hear" (this records basically everything that's coming through my speakers directly). Then I open Windows Movie Maker and record away!

I do most of my editing afterwards in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3.

to me shredding doesn't just constitue sweep picking arpeggios which most people seem to be doing.

Any good guitarist will tell you a good solo builds from start to finish. If you go purely for speed you're cutting out so many other techniques.

You only have to look at Dimebag to see how its done. One of the greatest shredders of all time.

Wait till you see the results of the competition it will not be won by someone sweep picks throughout. #not enough immagination.

The drums are EZDrummer (standard rock kit) samples and bass is just a MIDI file imported with a bass patch from Reason set as the out.
