Yes that was the spot indeed. I had the best time of my life from 1999-2001 in that crazy place. Saturday night/Sunday morning was my thing. TJ was the greatest DJ and I wish I could find some of the songs he used to play which led me to here. Can anyone tell me the name of that song that went "blue green yellow red" I would love to hear it again. Thanks!

I went there from1997 till 2000 and it was the greatest time of my life.i remember they had an ambulence outside on fri and sat nights coz there were so many overdoses there.I had to take my friend out coz he was nuchin out(too much special k)and a AC cop was always on the door.R.I.P. John Rock who was always there.I bartended in Duke Macks and I knew most of the bartenders there and there will never be another place like it.R.I.P Faz who was the bouncer and where is TJ and little Billy now?

I still don't know what Tommy Sherwood is going to do, but I had some freaky good times in there sans shirt! It was a totally new experience for me being 35 coming from Irish bars then stepping into a new genre of people where it starts to get going at 4am! Club Tru killed Studio Six though.

I was a dancer at studio,god I miss it, the all nite parties,the people,the drugs =].The owners son drove it to the ground.A club never last too long once the house dealers are too close to home.I would love for them to open it with a reuninon....good times an made parties.Dont forget the beach once the sun came up in margate right infront of lucy...

For those that have been there, here is a good description of the shady b-rooms in studio. About midnight there would be a broken beer bottle on the floor. Go in around 2, broken bottle, and a couple empty k jars. Go in at 4, broken bottle, empty k jars, empty coke bags, and human shit on the floor. Go in at 6, broken glass, empty k jars, empty coke bags, shit on the floor, blood wiped on the wall, a needle. God this place was the best! I really miss it.

music stopped 1 pm on sunday and the church accross street compleined all the time, there was a picture of me inside the Dj booth. TJ played the best music, studio did not get good til 6 am that when all the other clubs were closed , good fun, good memories

i remember this complex as a gay resort..there was the surfside hotel, studio six, brass rail bar, and in later years club tru..but it was in a shady area in between atlantic and pacific aves.

this was my fav club and from what one of the most steady dj's (Jason E) told me it was the longest running club on the East Coast... It sucks its closed because now there is no good clubs in between jersey and philly for actual dance music

and really it was kinda bad with the yams in AC walking around (perfect example the mook pissing on the wall and cursing at a guy b/c he has a camera) but if you had a group or stayed close to the club it was safe.

My fav club was Studio6/ Tru-I first went there in the late 90's-when Tru opened up and the hotel was expanded the business was booming-but after the Borgota opened the crowds were smaller-Schultz sold it in 2005 or so because he was getting old-lol-and the new owners sold it-2yrs later -they didnt even tell the employees-and they got shafted-what a shame-best after hours ever -I will miss it terribly-thx for taping it even though it kills me to see it boarded up-your videos are great of AC!
