i dont know about verizon but for me sprint sucks i have to text people the same message 3 times to get a message from them and it makes me look retarded but the calling is good and so is the internet
FYI: 4G is NOT UMTS or CDMA 2000, not even WIMAX. 4G is LTE, and it is on its early stages, so no, neither sprint nor verizon have functional 4G networks. At least not yet. Also verizon locks down many phone functions and installs a lot of shit in the phone´s OS, so in that sense, sprint is much better
well ive been with sprint for 10 yrs and i must say sprint did suck back then but NOW they cant be touched! i tried verizon a couple of times & the man with the glasses wasn't with me! i dont know where he was when i needed him. my calls kept dropping everywhere & their phones are like toys! SPRINT rocks all day everday!!!!! so i agree with 6ixtynin9! sprint is the only 1 that has mobile to ANY mobile for FREE now... nobody else does!!!!!

another reason why u pay so little is because they compensate for the crappy ass service so they charge lower prices. Verizon has better service and less to even no drop calls unlike sprint and thats why they charge more... you do get what you pay for... im from NYC and Verizon works best for me. i had sprint and it sucked! i rather pay more then less for service and a network that will be VERY RELIABLE. any Verizon person will tell u.
Sprint phones dont even come close to verizon phones. Just think about the LG rumor vs the enV. Ofcourse the env wins and the rant vs the enV2. Do I even have to bring up the fact they only have 3 non smart phone touchscreen phones. Its getting more and more rediculuos
not so fast, sprint is also doing that. and remember sprint and verizon have roaming agreements so the coverage is identical. difference being sprint has 4g (roughly 5x faster than 3g), way cheaper plans, and a whole lineup of phones like the pre, hero, moment, touch pro 2, etc, plus 4g phones coming early 2010. still surprises me why people say verizon is better. not to mention that dude in the glasses is an annoying douche.

verizon is converting to gsm. which means they will run off gsm and cdma technologies.. which means more towers for signal. verizons the way to go.
