I don't know why people think that peaceful protest are effective when dealing with big government. Time and time again it fails to do anything and people still go out and feel like they're making a difference. The only way a protest stops a politician with an agenda is when that politician is fearful for his life. A white person wouldn't yell racial slurs in a black neighborhood for fear of harm, why is this neo-conservative able to spew this garbage in Madison of all places?
Every time there is a fascist agenda in America the Koch brothers have their finger prints all over it- It's time to boycott Koch industries products, They have home building supplies GP Georgia Pacific and paper products like Brawny, Quilted Northern, Angelsoft, and Dixie cups- My slogan, Koch industries fascist products , don't want them in my house , wouldn't wipe my ass with them, won't drink the kool-aid from that dixie cup
Finally some glimmer of hope (although not generated by Obama, I might add). If this fight in Wisconsin/Ohio is lost, it will embolden the kleptocracy even further, and things will get infinitely worse for every working person in America.
Great vid! It's about time to see some serious push back. As you said, this is NOT about the budget shortfall, it is about union busting, period. Once you eliminate the right of collective bargaining, you may as well outlaw unions altogether. Wall St and their crony capitalist fat cats are robbing the country blind + labor is not supposed to have any representation? Enough is enough!
Hm, this is the shock doctrine on steroids. Cannot wait for a natural disaster or the like so that you can let the legislature rubber stamp your extreme measures? Create the "crisis" yourself. It's almost like in "Wag the Dog", except that Walker generates the "crisis" in his own state. I did not care for Doyle too much, but Walker seems to be a rubber baron compared to him.
Wow ! You came all the way up here ? Cool. Before he was gov Walker was county exec here in Milwaukee. I have no idea how he won the election either. Clearly he misread his mandate from the electorate who ever they are.
@FeelFreeToArgue Definitely. I know my home state's Governor (Rick Scott, Florida) is planning to do the same thing as well, but then again Florida has been an ass backwards state for a long time now so there's no telling what will happen.
Thanks for the video, and more importantly, thanks for being there.

I am hopeful to see some blow back against the utter bullshit that politicians spew in the name of fiscal responsibility. Great to see! Thanks!

I love political douchebaggery when it gets down to nasty partisan politics that ruins
the very nature of civilized discourse.
People who suck attacking people who suck is always fun particularly when the scapegoating occurs.
The billions they need for the fix aren't going to be affected by the pittance of this
bill.

Great video, thanks for posting.
Let's hope this is the beginning of an awakening of the "working" class, i.e., normal Americans.

Now you know what teabaggers are really about: protect the rich because that's where their funding comes from. Sounds Republican to me.

I hope similar protests go on all over America.

@Homer177 Me too. It's unfair to make state employees pay for tax cuts for corporations.
