Allyn Root seems like a good guy, however I don't think he or any other candidate can make change. It's not a coincidence we have all these problems in the making. Government is too corrupt. Banksters control everything. The Federal Reserve, IMF, CIA, CFR, NAFTA, NATO, UN- All of this. America is not even a democracy. It gets RID of real democracy. In Chile, Iran, & elsewhere in the world we've seen this.
Ok , Show your voting record as in what you stand for (to the people), Explain you views well in economics, liberty and freedom for people, explain why the opposing candidate is failing on any of the given issues. And Wayne Allyn Root you have a great chance to become a president, I think people want some1 NOT from either 2 parties remember that
A 3rd party will never emerge in the US as long there are those retarded people who thinks their vote is going to be waste if they vote for a 3rd party,so they prefer to vote the guy they don't like instead.
Libertarians have failed for several reasons. Chief among them is their top-down focus. Libertarians need to win at the bottom first. In American, you grow a party from the grass roots.
Libertarians need to elect local and state level representatives --- to repeal the state election laws favoring the two established parties!
Until libertarians do that, they can't win. And if they do win, they won't be able to do anything.
The problem with the Libertarian party in general is too many Libertarian minded people stay in the Republican party because our electoral system is made only for two parties! I don't even like the word "Libertarian," Classical Liberal would fit better, and finally take the "Liberal" name from soft leftists in the US....(eh hem, I am a Republican...)
Kick the god shit to the curb and press him on the drug issue and I might think about it . We need to stop all these neo-cons from getting on the libertarian bandwagon.
From what I have read, many neocons are simply Libertarians who support nation building and supranational gov organization....yes, it seems not to make sense, but they do!
I agree. If we have Ron Paul or someone like him on the Republican ticket, that's where my vote will be going. My main concern is that someone truly fiscally responsible and conservative is elected. Otherwise, we're screwed.
I like him, but don't think he has the necessary "gravitas" to become President. It's doubtful that he'll inspire great grassroots support, but we'll see.
hmm. havent heard of him

We don't need a Ross Perot of 2012. We need to unite conservatives and libertarians under one banner in order to defeat Obama.

Amen to that. I think any big party is destined to become unwieldy and corrupt, so I have no great hope for the Libertarian Party.
The thing right now is to stop the madness and kick Obambi and the liberal Congress out of office in 2010 and 2012.

Maybe he'll get more attention in 2012 with someone like Jesse Ventura as a running mate.

Ross Perot of 2012. Ok, so that means Obama wins. Great work Libertarians.

Obama won four years after getting on the national map, didn't he?

Seems a tad too salesman-ish, especially for a libertarian. I have a bit of an Interest in his campaign, though.
