@moaski I'd be more inclined to see a local community buy one - much the same way I can check out a power-draw-meter from the local library. (I don't know if it is a Kill-a-Watt or what model it is) - or a group of folks going in on one. Definitely interested when that price gets cut in half though!
Or buy it, and sell it to someone else after you're done with it. Rent it out to other neighbors?

Probably not a good product to highlight on the DIY Network.
You'd have to hunt down a lot of leaks to rationalize paying $1,200!
This camera is for professional home inspectors and energy auditors, as they are the only ones who could justify the cost.
