I believe that metalheads tend to be more sophisticated with their arguments and are usually more knowledgeable than their very off-track stereotype makes them out to be. In fact, most metal music has themes that involve complex thoughts and ideas from famous philosophers/inventors (i.e. Plato, Confucius, Nikola Tesla, Galileo Galilei, etc.). Metal ftw.

You must have metalheads confused with the majority of the rap/hip hop audience (though that audience also has tons of intelligent people, too). I believe that metalheads tend to be more sophisticated with their arguments and are usually more knowledgeable than their very off-track stereotype makes them out to be. In fact, most metal music has themes that involve complex thoughts and ideas from famous philosophers/inventors (i.e. Plato, Confucius, Nikola Tesla, Galileo Galilei, etc.). Metal ftw.

I know the majority of metal heads aren't like this, but most stereotypes (however crude and misinformed) have some small basis in fact, that is what makes them funny.
