  • Oh hai! Have you ever tried - fast abs magic (do a google search)? Ive heard some decent things about it and my auntie got beautiful Six pack abs and lost a truck load of of weight with it.

  • She is so right, we all have different chemistry's in our body and come from different cultures. Activity level really does have something to do with what we eat as part of a vegan diet as well. Being in tune with your own body is really the best way to see what works for you.

  • Does it matter if your eating too many fatty nuts or not?

    I thought skin was only improved when you had a mostly fruit/low fat diet like you have. I can't afford high calorie fruits as the staple of my diet, but I can afford nuts. So I guess ill never get clear skin :(

  • @CBasie2856 I was told that if you are really trying to lose weight then you want to stay away from avocados, seeds, and nuts. They are very HIGH in fat content but these are the good fats.

    A vegan diet is suitable for anyone of any age. I'm 16 and I'm a vegan making my way into the raw diet.

    Just make sure to really eat your fruits and veggies. Most teens that go vegetarian or vegan just eat junk food and processed carbs like bread, which usually makes them fat and extremely unhealthy.

    Even some people are vegan their entire lives. Actress Alicia Silverstone is pregnant and is having a vegan pregnancy and will be raising her child vegan.

  • I have to agree that one set raw lifestyle does not work for everyone and that our bodies handle surgars and fats differently. I noticed that i do really well with fruit green smoothies and jucies, while if i do fats i stick to an avacado in a salad every couple of days. My stomach doesnt digest nuts well in high quanity, and pure fruit jucies need greens otherwise i feel sleepy after an hour or halph. Im glad that you are open to that fact, and not set in stone with one way. What are your thou

  • Natasha, it's sound nice to hear someone speak as open-minded as you. It sounds as though your diet is a variation of 811 and I'm glad to hear this. I have a number of friends that are doing 811 with great success but it's not a diet that works for me. However, I have been able to modify it to include foods that I wanted to include. Add plenty of water to that lifestyle, which I'm sure you are getting, and you've got a winning diet. Cheers.

  • Oh I forgot one thing; FATS (Essential fatty acids, in particular), contrary to people's overall impression on what fat does, makes you LOSE fat. Don't let fat-crazed people convince you that ALL fat is bad because that is NOT the case. You REALLY need to improve your knowledge on healthy eating. It's fine to be a vegetarian but the composition of our bodies and it's requirements to maintain maximum health is BEYOND FRUITS and VEGETABLES.

  • RawRadiantHealth...You're killing me! How can you eat a "very, very low fat diet" and act as if it's healthy. Did you know that 60% of your BRAIN is composed of FAT!!! Not to mention fat is essential for hormone production, healthy skin, brain and the entire body for that matter. Now that I emphasized the importance of fat; you should only consume Omega-3,6, and 9 fatty acids, but they must be balanced. Your best bet is to eat WALNUTS and SUNFLOWER seeds.

  • You are an inspiration to me! I'm almost 17-years old, and been a vegan since I was 13 years old. I've always liked to eat healthy. Even when I was in grade school, and at lunch, kids would eat SO MUCH JUNK FOOD!!!! I was always the one bringing in fruit slices, and granola! I felt odd. But, I always thought I was bettering myself by eating healthy, nourishing foods. And in fact I AM! So, I don't feel like i'm missing out on anything at all!!! THANKS NATASHA!!!!!   • I love this video I went on a Raw diet about a year I find raw food tastes so good but i was always hungry because i was trying to limit my consumption one apple per sitting was all i thought i could have I since went off the diet but might try it again if i find it in my budget (as it can get very expensive) because it know now that its ok to eat allot

  • @pauls008 Though this question isnt directed to me I eat raw kale by juicing it. I've been told it can be an overpowering taste otherwise. Juice it with other great fruits and veggies...toss in half a lemon and enjoy. :)

  • Hey Natasha great info! My problem is that i love fruit(i can go weeks just on fruit!), but just can't get with the salad thing.I'm ok with green smoothies(say 2 glasses a day) & fruit, is that good enough?

  • @MrFidel77 I think it is good enough. get it in however you can. I also consume green smoothies and green juice to get as much of it in as possible... I try to take in 64oz .

  • also, meat eaters like more salt b/c of addcitions and the vegans have a sweetooth for more carbs.One size could fit all b/c low fat vegan raw is a speicies specific diet like dr Graham says. Don't be afraid to let ppl know this is the optimum way eating. It can work for every human to eat this way. we are the only species that cook our fods and we have so many problems b/c of it. RV low fat is the best for ones health above any other way of eating. Whole foods over dry fragmented, a no brainer.

  • lxvlx, it sounds like you're severely undereating on calories, which would account for your tiredness. if most of what you're eating is bananas, at 6 a day, that's a little over 600 calories. lettuce is important but has almost no calories.

  • 6 bananas probably don't supply you with enough calories. Try 15, or mix it up with some other fruit

  • you need to eat heaps more! more fruit will give you more energy! 20 bananas at LEAST :)
