  • great inspirational video, kinda touching story and a great athlete!

  • this guy is so inspirational and to be natural is amazing.

  • He's not in a wheelchair guys it's just a normal chair. If you watch the other True Strength videos you'll notice that they're sitting in the same chair.

  • Why is he being filmed in a wheel chair, there is no mention he was 'paralyzed' or made to be confined to one. Only speaks of a spinal injury, yet was allowed into the US Air Force. In many scenes he appears upright and lifting weights. Hum, wonder if that bothers some others who can't 'get up' out of their chair.

  • @kbflorida888 I think that's just a normal chair. But you're right.

  • @shakeri84 He is 100% natural! He can prove it to anyone! People just can't believe in hard work these days. They always think that people cheat. Jason didnt cheat... Hes dedicated!

  • wow this guy have discipline.

  • very good voice- u was good in radio that was good for you:)

  • hi jason . have u facebook

  • Anyone know the name of the music in the background?

One of brock lesnar's training videos had it as well

  • Thank u for that!

  • Thank you. Great inspiration, especially for someone that has just started working out about 2 weeks ago and who has had his own deal of suffering. I live with chronic pain too, and I experience fatigue too. I just decided some time ago to live my life, not to put it on hold anymore, and go through all the stuff that has kept me stuck. I wanna have a physique which I can be proud of. For me it's really about breaking my limitations and working my will.

  • Wow I had no idea.. he's an inspiration to us all, that's insane tho, battling that level of pain on a daily basis, so incredible. reason number 300 why he will always be my favorite athlete.

  • I started bodybuilding at 17, I'm 19 now, I've achieved a great physic, even though sometimes I think of using steroids, but this guy is an inspiration for me to keep going natural using protein shake which is very important and eating healthy.

I think that the best physics are the naturals ones.

  • What a wicked physique! Amazing that is natural! Awesome! Real true strength

  • WOW!!! nice!! i got huge spine problems too, and still natural competing!!

  • Jason, you truly are an inspiration to all of those people who are discouraged to chase their dreams because of their medical conditions. You remind me of Barbara Padilla, she is a cancer survivor and America's Got Talent finalist. She is a rising star in the world of opera.

    God bless you, Jason Powell!

  • @zucchini2007 Thank you! We all have our obstacles to overcome in our own paths to success...it's just a blessing I have the opportunity through Optimum to share my own and inspire others.

  • @jasoncpowell I just have a few questions about your spinal condition, if you don't mind:

    1. What is the medical term for it?

    2. What are the symptoms of it, and how does it affect your exercise routine on a daily basis?

    3. Are there any cures or treatments for it?

  • I started bodybuilding when i was 16, I am now 19 and you are truly my hero, with everything you have been through. Being natural is a tough thing to do and I want to continue this lifestyle and begin competing soon. Keep it up, stay true, you are truly my inspiration.

  • Truly Inspirational, great story of overcoming obstacles to achieve your goals and dreams. All the best.

  • Incredible example of True Strength!! Great video!
