  • he has Barbie's twirl jump!

  • I LOOOOVE Quarth! I just got it on the Japanese Konami GB Collection Vol. 4, and I'm sooo addicted. Stupid level 3-9, can't get past it.

  • fishfishfish!

  • You... open the way to the Chain Whip with a seal.

    ARGHRGHRHGHRGHR LA MULANAAAAAA

  • Fishfishfish!

  • When I got to room after wall jumping (it was hell!) I finally managed to get there with 22 weights and 1 full exp gauge :d

  • @Nitromatic

I totally know what you mean, it took me about 10-15 tries. Stupid fire, why does fire hit you while lava doesn't?

  • @StealthAngel667 Maybe the Ice cape doesn't protect against things with Ethereal form or no real substance? Still doesn't explain how he can see and breathe whilst submerged in a lake of lava.

  • @Nitromatic Oh, that's nothing.

I filled 2 and a half EXP gauges, got at LEAST 18 more weights, and I've fallen down almost 40 times.

I STILL DON'T HAVE THAT WHIP.

  • I'm up to this weapon in my first playthrough. I've learned one thing in my efforts to get past the flame shaft form the first half of this video. I SUCK WITH THE GRAPPLE CLAW... I have yet to kill myself int hat tunnel, but that's cause I keep filling the exp bar on the climb back up... 9 Hours today alone, and I'm no closer to the stupid Chain Whip (I DO have almost more weights than I can use, like 70+, I went in with 3...) I fail at grapple claw =/

  • fishfishfish

  • I forget... What was the next whip upgrade???

  • the mace, or spiked ball 'n' chain, but in game its called mace.

  • Mace.

  • It's Whip -> Chain Whip - > Mace

  • After the whip is the chain whip, and after the chain whip is the mace.

  • VICTOLY!

  • Athletic Land+ Cabbage Patch Kids Rom= Getting hit and being invunerable long enough to drop down there.

  • Wow. It took me 3 hours to get the chain whip. 3 HOURS! Although on the bright side I'm really good at wall clinging now.

  • Ditto that, I spent one sitting doing nothing but trying to get that stupid whip.... grrr...

oh but it was soooo worth it

  • Haha didn't take me 3 hours but I still tired a hell lot of times before actually getting in the room :P

  • dam those seal things on walls let's me think of "Seal only!" sign XD

  • i like the midi music better

  • If you like, continue without saving after botching the Chain Whip affempt, is it still messed up?

  • Yes. If you can't accept the Chain Whip being gone forever, you either have to start a new save or search Google for the La Mulana level editor.

  • Ugh, I'm tearing my hair out here! Ironically, when I first fired up La Mulana again to get the Serpent Staff from that last area with similar claw-jumps, I actually nailed both parts on my first try!

This one... will probably take significantly longer. :(

  • Hey, DC why don't you Let's play Quarth?

  • Why... Would I let's play Quarth?

  • I dunno...why would you Let's Play Zen Bondage, Civilization, and SkulJagger?

  • Those are fun games.

  • Good point...and I barely know what "Quarth" is anyway...

  • you in the video said that quarth was a good game and you even said let's play quarth...XD is that not the same?

  • @DeceasedCrab of fun times

  • help, i need the boots and i can';t get to them. i have everything you have DC, but i can't get them!!!

  • Was the chain whip the item/weapon you thought you were going to get when you got the flare gun.

  • One would think that hanging onto the left side of that pit and then falling would let you get into the ChainWhip room...ohwell, to late now.

  • One wouldn't get the chain whip that way, because the left side of the pit has a more or less constant flame blowing just above the target ledge.

  • Besides, that's assuming La Mulana would give you something without working for it ... LOL.

  • I have a theory about the Gloves. Now, the guy you controll is STRONG. But with his bare hands, it could be too much trouble to damage them, as he wouldn't be able to repair the cuts and bruises very well.

Thus, he pushes things slowly and carefully. But with the Gloves, his hands are protected, and he can push wish his full strength.

  • Pushing blocks = Cuts and bruises? That's silly.

  • Rough, jagged edges on the blocks, formed by the wear and tear of centuries. They're called RUINS for a reason.

  • Oh man... Eternal Daughter is hell in a can. One game where you need to find the secrets in order to complete the game.

  • ?? In my game, I can't get to the boots because that spot where there's a hole you can jump up into the little alcove from the water is not a hole, only floor. :-( Where is the switch that triggers it? I need those boots! (If you know, please Message me on here.)

  • Yeah, happens to me too, what gives? Maybe you need to come in through the drain. Hold on, I'll check

  • Have you figured anything out? The floor is solid for me too.

  • Lmao at the Rage Against the Machine reference, your vids are like edutainment I'm entertained yet I learn more about the game at the same time. You should consider covering Eternal Daughter after La-Mulana, similar gameplay, cept Eternal Daughter focuses a lot more on don't get killed rather then solving puzzles
