  • I'm glad they wrecked the wall

  • Best version on youtube

  • This is best song.

  • RIP Billy Preston, George Harrison, and John Lennon.

  • This features George's guitar solo lifted from the film version of the song. I don't know if the Lennon's and George's film vocals were used here or not, maybe someone knows. And Linda's high harmony remains. Nice. This seems to feature some different takes with Paul's lead as well. What I like is that you don't get bleed-over from the other guitar solos - or the chord mistake at 3:00. And you get that great organ fill by Preston here!! All in all, I prefer this recording!!

  • @brtherjohn In the original Get Back session, George`s solo wasn`t yet recorded. It was actually overdubbed on January 1970 and included in "integral" version before Spector`s remastering. Someone mentioned that recording that solo was formally the last Beatles session ever.

  • @DustBGD89 I know what you're saying, but in the MOVIE version of Let it Be, George's solo in that version (the "there will be no sorrow" version) was lifted from that and placed in the Let It Be Naked version. So, there's really 3 guitar solos of George! I'm pretty sure you can find the actual Let It Be movie soundtrack on Youtube and see what I'm saying.

  • @brtherjohn Indeed, but those are not different guitar solos, I just checked it out, however there are 3 versions, and on chronologigal order, those are:

    1) "Regular" version, published on album "Let it Be" in 1970, which actually included "unoriginal" solo, that was recorded on January 1970. Also, this version includes orchestra.

    2) Film version, from same period, with original guitar solo, but without orchestra. Keyboards are emphasized (continuation in next comment)

  • @DustBGD89 And only to add. Two versions were apparantly recorded durring "Get Back" sessions. "There will be no sorrow" was included only in film.

  • @brtherjohn In this version, all vocal-instrumental parts shown by camera are also emphasized (ex. Lennon, when singing back vocals)

    3) "Naked" version, featuring original guitar-solo, not featuring orchestra- as some lost and eventually found recordings were used. All parts are more or less equalized. Maaaybe, some tracks are taken from original album version, because somhow I do hear orchestra in background.

  • @DustBGD89 Well they worked on the Anthology 1995 (Free As a Bird was their last song they recorded I think)

  • Did anyone else take the regular Let It Be album off their ipod?

  • @3234718 Insanity. Why not have both?

  • @translucentimp Cuz I had to choose only what I absolutely had to have on my 16gb iphone from the 80 gigs of music on my computer. The regular Let It Be had to go. It was sad, but necessary.

  • This is the first version I've heard that doesn't have the fluffed piano note at 3:00

  • The three solos, no make that FOUR solos from Let It Be that I've heard is really inspired me to try and improvise as many solos as I could for this song.

  • I like this version but prefer the one on the album. I do love the backing vocals here.

  • This version is superior in every single way. I hate the guitar in the original, it's so obnoxious.

  • has less reverb

  • george and john sound like angels

  • what the fuck does obama presidential limo has to dowith let it be?!?!?! see recomended viedos lol.

  • Prefer the solo on the normal version, though the rest of this version is superior.

  • @CosmicHobo2 this is the normal version in the words of the beatles.they wanted this out instead of what phil spector put out

  • R.I.P Billy Preston.

  • I really like the solo on this one

  • Best song ever
