I saw the re-runs too, but it is a great show, and I brought the complete series on DVD and my kids love it. Way better than that junk on Disney Channel, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network these days. Even Boomerang sucks now, too many 1990s cartoons.

This show debuted on CBS in the fall of 1970, Flamingo as a spin off of Sabrina The Teenage Witch (not the Melissa Joan Hart series nor DIC's version that aired in the 1990s).
