This is absolutely terrific and amazing!!!!! I am an Irish Dancer myself and I am currently learning the Lord of the Dance dance which is the final step to learning Irish Dancing in my eyes, yes ofcourse there is even harder Irish Dancing but once you do The Lord of the Dance like this you know you r now a pro. Wow , I had never seen an example of river dancing, but from the comments this is a great performance. Not something that would look right if done alone in a club , but good for on stage for people who like it. I just want to know how in the world does he move his feet so fast and stay in sync. The only faster feet I have seen was Bruce Lee. But this guy has stamina , just keeps on and on , but on wikipedia it said traditional river-dance , the persons arms are stationary along with the torso

The fact that the coreographer(s) felt no qualms lining them all up in one row, tells me that they felt confidence in ALL of their dancers - that there is not a single one that is sub par, which is quite amazing considering the size of the troupe.

I've been listening to Celtic music for a few years now. I've been wanting to see Riverdance, I see a Lord of the Dance coming to town in the next few months. What's the difference? Is Lord of the Dance the same thing, just more contemporary?

@jasonito23 - The original is this one, Riverdance, which exploded when they performed at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994. The lead male performer you see here, Michael Flatley, was the principal dancer and after their success, he had a falling out with the management so he left to create 'Lord Of The Dance'. I have seen the original one and also some 'copies' like 'Spirit Of The Dance' but I have yet to see Michael Flatley live in person. You should still go see it - they're awesome!!!
