i finlay got my dodge out the shop. it now has a 318 bored .30 over with dual float holley street avenger carb and edel brock performer intake. 350 hp!
i have a 1970 dodge 100 and why the fuck dont ANY of their hoods sit right? I got my truck from the nevada test site with about 40k on it. Truck had about 4 inches of paint in the bed. workin on it now though.
@spunisphun because these trucks back then were work trucks and they would overheat sometimes. so about 60% of owners put bricks under the hood to prop it up and give more air low
Where are you at? That looks like an American model 68-69 D100. I have a 70. In 72 in the US they went to the next body style and big flat grille. Nice looking truck!!!
@rodrigovilela29 same dude my dad has a original 318 only his is a 71 and it used to have a slant 6 but we got the 318 out of a 70 and my dads isnt in as good of shae but i have a video on my profile so please check it out
@rodrigovilela29 thanks, by the way im glad to see your truck in such good shape. these are really great trucks. the one my dad had was going to the scrapper but we saved it.

@spunisphun I think that's a problem off all of them! hehe my hood doesn't sit right too... you did something to fix?
rodrigovilela29 1 year ago
@spunisphun actually some people put blocks under the hoods to lift them back in the 70s. for better air travel and yours is prolly bent
