  • An Arizona and California GP40-2 had or still has tht same horn..awsome horn!!

  • That's an ex-Southern loco

  • That horn kicked ass! Great video!

  • Jeez, NS rails needs new horns on most of their engines.

  • What are you talking about? That's an amazing horn!

  • My bad. I just re-watched the video. The horn is awesome.

  • wow! ns's gp 59 transcaer unit trailing a very rare sight in its own graet catch! 5*

  • Friggin squeal. If you catch a K5H on CSX, that's usually what they sound like now... I enjoy how the length between the button (valve) and the inlet to the mainifold allow for air to slowly disspate...so instead of "off-on" with the horn, it almost "brightens and dims" so to speak. Much nicer than "On-off"-Jeffrey

  • @GP30RDMT I like that too! Look at YouTube video CSX Loaded Vehicle Freight - Folkston, Georgia. The SD50 in this video has the sweetest horn that I have heard in a while.

  • That is a sweet ass horn!

  • Ditto! :D

  • agreement! :)

  • Great horn!

  • With the way that one bell is squealing; it sounds like an S5T until it passes you.

  • Thornton?

  • No offense but it sounds weird...nice geep!!

  • Not really weird,slight squeal.
