i'll probably get thumbs down for this as it's most likely it will be nearly all neighbours fans here buti have to agree with the above poster. And a £300 million contract lasting ten years? Know wonder the BBC didn't want to take up the offer the show will probably be dead before that.

Neighbours on five? When home and away got moved from ITV to Five, i stopped watching it. So i'll probably stop watching Neighbours when it moves to Five which is a shame because i've bee watching it on the bbc since i was a kid, i'm 25 now. The beeb will loose a lot of viewers through this, what the hell is with a second rate channel poaching our beloved soaps anyway? What's next, eastenders moving to sky one Lol

What difference does it make what channel it's on??!!?? You only have to remember to watch Five instead of BBC 1, hardly a huge inconvenience! If you really liked the programme you would still watch it. If your relatives moved to a new house a few doors up the road would you never visit them again? Lol!

It's not *that* bad. You only have 1 advert break. Compared to 3 in Australia for a 30 minute programme.

Why would it look like we're watching H&A? The advert is set on *Ramsay Street* afterall. five has a knack for not using capital letters hence why Neighbours is 'neighbours'.
