Honestly is entertaining to watch lol. If I go to the philippines I will definately look for an area where people are doing this and I would most certainly love to wager.
The philippine spiders looks a bit like the orb-weaver spider. The pattern on their (philippine spider and Orb-weaver spider) back are not the same. However the body and leg color are about the same.
Based on the fight videos of orb-weaver spiders that I saw here on youtube, orb-weavers are not game. I think they will not kill/fight each other if you put them both on a stick.
That is so funny I was telling my kids about me doing that when I lived there. I use to fight praying matis and spiders. Brings back great memories of my time in the philippines many years ago.
best way to win this is to not feed your spider for 2-3 days before letting it fight, its hunger will make it win!!!and its fun to see it become fat after it finished eating its prey and making it thin again before the next fight. but what really determines the outcome is their legs,,,the longer it is the bigger the chance itll win.
