J-10 is actually more of a cousin to the F-16 since it is heavily based of the Isreali Lavi which was a highly modified Falcon variant. Pretty cool aircraft though......looks like a Eurofighter and Falcon had a kid and powered by a an engine from a flanker................SWEET.

Oh and by the way, there was no real tech development done by the Chinese for this fighter. It was simply an Israeli Lavi fighter which was originally based on the F-16 from the 60's. I don't want to offend anybody, but I just wanted everybody to know.
