Been watching boxing since 1990,yeah and roy shouldhave hung them up 5 years ago,Floyds defence is the philly shell,james toney uses it still to good effect and hes hardly fast anymore..

Mayweather will always be a good fighter because even when his speed goes he will still have that excellent defence and ring smarts,thats why hopkins is still going strong in his 40s and roy isnt,Roy should have retired 5 years ago,instead he is hanging around and getting his brain cells destroyed,if you are that big a fan of roy stop encouraging him and stop buying his ppvs..

I know what pound for pound means,Roy's problem is once he slowed down he stopped being superman,he had no basic boxing skills to fall back on,Roy's defence was based on reflexes and speed,thats why the like of Mayweather and Hopkins will still be good fighters even when they get old,basic boxing skills,although to be fair,Roy Jones in his prime was awesome..

Roy was a novice pro at junior middle and Floyd only fought there once,fight would make no sense and Floyd would have a chance against any fighter in history,might not beat them but he would have a chance..
