Q and Powercall is ok, or Q and electric set on YELP. Because if you have the Q peaked with WAIL, the motorists are looking for another vehicle that isn't there (and they turn into dumbasses anyway when they see us behind them, we don't wont to confuse even more). People believe that two sirens make people move that much faster...IT DON'T!!

Yeah. The way we do it here is: YELP and lay down on the Q for intersections, and WAIL all other times. The Q is the ultimate traffic bulldozer, but it never hurts to have an electric in case the Q decides to quit. :>)

We have PA-300's and Q's on all 4 of our Seagraves, but we only use the Q 95% of the time. Once in a while if we have a lot of traffic moving in the same direction during the daytime, a few of us (myself included) with use the YELP as well. Once in a great while the Q will decide to not work so the electronic makes a great backup in that case like NC403 also mentioned.

Thank you for making your truck sound like A FIRE TRUCK and not like a fire truck AND an ambulance. Electronic sirens are for backup if the Q decides not to work or for smaller vehicles that can't handle a Q. Just my two lousy pennies. Nice video!!
